A mother who is working towards reunification with her child and having family time with her 1 year old daughter in her home is needing a large standing baby gate and cabinet locks to ensure that her home is baby proofed and safe for child to be there.

A family of four, consisting of one adult caregiver, her two young children, and her teenage sister for whom she has guardianship, has been experiencing homelessness for nearly a year and is currently residing in an extended-stay hotel. Despite the caregiver’s tireless efforts and having exhausted all available housing assistance, the family remains in a highly unstable living situation.

The caregiver has just enough funds to cover one more week at the hotel, but doing so will leave the family without adequate resources for food until their next food stamp allotment arrives on the 7th. This gap places the children at immediate risk of going without meals.

A $150 food delivery would provide crucial relief and stability during this critical period, ensuring the children have access to nourishing meals while the caregiver continues to work toward a long-term housing solution. Your support would directly impact their safety, well-being, and dignity during an incredibly challenging time.

Client is a single mother with a 3-month-old baby boy who is doing her best to provide for her child but is facing financial challenges and could greatly benefit from the donation or support of a gently used or new stroller. Having a stroller would make a significant difference in her daily life, allowing her to safely and more easily transport her child while attending appointments, running errands, looking for employment, and commuting. It would help ease her burden and give her more independence and mobility as she continues to build a stable life for herself and her baby.

Currently the Department is trying to reunify biological mother with her 2-year-old child who has primary medical needs. Child was born premature and cannot use a front facing car seat yet due to physical delays and not being physically mature enough to keep control of her head. Child requires a rear facing car seat for a 22-65lbs. Obtaining this car seat will ensure child is safe when transported to multiple medical needs.

During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction. We would like to help reduce any additional stress that would trigger any seizures episodes from occurring from having to move. Your help will keep this young family from becoming unhoused.
