Hello, I am working with a family who is seeking a two-story window fire escape ladder. I am working with two sisters. One is the minor was recently detained due to not having a legal caregiver for the past two years. She had been in the care of her older sister who at the time was 17 going on 18. The adult sister has been caring for the minor for the last two years. She has faced push back because of her young age, when she attempted to access services for her younger sister. She however, did not give up and she fought her way and got the resources her younger sister needed. The Agency got involved and we were able to place with the adult sister. The 19-year-old sister’s financial situation is limited as she is on a very tight budget in order to pay all the bills. In order to keep this placement and keep these sisters together, they require the fire escape ladder in the next few days. Any help will be appreciated.

The relative caregiver is requesting assistance with a mattress, bed frame, bedding, and a carbon monoxide detector. The relative caregiver recently received placement of the dependent child and the child is occupying her biological daughter's bed meanwhile the relative caregiver sleeps with her daughter. She states that she does not have the sufficient funds at this time to make this purchase. She was going to receive a bed from a family member, but it was found to be water damaged. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this relative caregiver meet the requirements for the RFA process.

The youth recently returned to care from run away status. She was on the run for about a year and is at high risk for "CSEC". While she was on the run she lost a lot of her belongings. The youth is in need of appropriate clothing for school and other personal items that will assist with her transitioning back into care and being a teenager. The youth does not have a designated place she likes to shop at, a visa gift card would be more beneficial to her.

The children were placed in foster care as it was reported the mother was having mental breakdowns and leaving the children unattended, it was later reported that the parents were engaging in acts of domestic violence and using crystal methamphetamines. The father has been showing great growth and progress through the past months. He has attended all supervised visits with the children and has kept constant communication with the agency. Due to this, the father will be transitioning to unsupervised visits with the children, the father is an agriculture worker and in need of assistance with car seats. The children are 2, 6, and 7 years old.

I have a young family who is in the reunification process with their young child, age 7 months. The Agency recently completed a home inspection and identified the home did not have a smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. The family is on a limited budget and currently the mother is unable to work.
The Agency is seeking assistance for a Carbon monoxide/Smoke detector for the family. The home is a 1 bedroom 1 bath small home. Thank you for all you do.

Good Morning,
I have a single mother of two beautiful young ladies age 9 and 11 who has purchased bed frames for the girls; however, the mother is struggling to put the bed frames together. The mother and children were recently involved in a vehicle accident and require physical therapy. The mother could use some assistance in getting the girls beds put together. The children currently have there beds on the floor. The mother has the frames and hardware.
If you are handy and able to donate your time to assist this mother and two children, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all you do!

I have four children between the ages of 5-11, on my caseload, who were recently removed from the mother's care. Three of the four children were placed in the father's care and the oldest child was placed in foster care. The mother willingly moved out of the home, so the children could continue living in their home and the father agreed to take it over. Several days later, the father found out the mother is behind three (3) months of rent (anything will help). The father is currently unemployed as he is a seasonal farm worker. The father is making improvements to the house to obtain placement of the children's oldest sibling, which is his stepdaughter. The family would benefit from assistance in helping pay the past due rent, so they won't be evicted from their home. A small dresser is needed to keep the children's clothes organized. Also, a carbon monoxide detector is needed, to keep the family safe. In hopes the home assessment will be approved.
