I'm currently working with a family that the father just recently lost his job of 11 years and the mother does not work at this time, the child is diabetic and needs to be seen at Children's Mercy and the family does not have the funds for gas to make it to the child's appointments to make sure they are meeting his health needs and getting his insulin for his pump and to be shown how to work the child's pump correctly. The family is also in need of some cups and silverware for their family to eat off of and drink out of as they do not have that right now.
