Three elementary age students and their grandmother need support with housing. They are currently homeless. They are staying at hotel; Metro Lutheran Ministries is currently covering the cost. MLM is only able to pay for their hotel stay until Sunday, February 5th at 11am. They could benefit from their hotel being extended for another week. The front desk can only accept payment in person, not over the phone. It is $68.14 per day. The children and guardian have fled trauma and violence from another state. This social worker and the guardian have called all local shelters and supportive housing programs. Each shelter is full or has a wait list. The family is on the wait list for Hillcrest and Restart Family Shelter.
