I am working with a single mother of 5 children ages 2 (female), 4 (female), 6 (male), 8 (female) and 11( male). The mother is unemployed due to needing to care for her children and does not have daycare as a option. She is struggling to provide for some of their basic needs. At this time, the mothers washing machine is not spinning out the water and she is having difficulty washing clothes for the children. The mother is unable to purchase or fix the washer at this time and it is not provided by the apartment community.
