I have four children between the ages of 5-11, on my caseload, who were recently removed from the mother's care. Three of the four children were placed in the father's care and the oldest child was placed in foster care. The mother willingly moved out of the home, so the children could continue living in their home and the father agreed to take it over. Several days later, the father found out the mother is behind three (3) months of rent (anything will help). The father is currently unemployed as he is a seasonal farm worker. The father is making improvements to the house to obtain placement of the children's oldest sibling, which is his stepdaughter. The family would benefit from assistance in helping pay the past due rent, so they won't be evicted from their home. A small dresser is needed to keep the children's clothes organized. Also, a carbon monoxide detector is needed, to keep the family safe. In hopes the home assessment will be approved.
