We would like to request financial assistance of $500 toward rent for the small family of a 13-year-old young man receiving Bert Nash services. This young man lives with his grandmother. This client was brought to live with his grandmother last Fall escaping an abusive situation while living with his mother in Texas. GM is on disability and is struggling to make ends meet with supporting client only on her disability income. We are in the process of applying for Social Security for this client as he struggles with mental health issues from the trauma he has endured in his mothers care.
