I am working on getting an almost 2 year old placed with a great aunt in the Houston, TX area. She would like to be able to meet him at least one time in person and observe some of the therapies he attends each week, and to start building a connection. She is currently doing video calls to allow him to familiarize himself with her voice and see her face. As you can imagine, it is very difficult to hold a 21 month olds attention on a video call. She is doing some research on renting a car and locating a hotel to stay in while she is here. Her funds are limited and she will be missing at least two days of work, if not more, to attend therapy and/or a doctors appointment. I am asking for assistance with gas cards that can be used in a variety of locations as she drives up here. Also, if anyone has any connections to a hotel in the Bartlesville area and help her get a discounted rate on her stay. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I anticipate this trek happening at least twice. I have to put dollar amounts in for the request, but please know that she will greatly appreciate and amount that you are able to spare.
