Caseworker has a family in which 4 children total are placed with Grandmother. The 2 oldest children are 10-year old twins and they really want to be able to participate in their end-of-school-year bookfair. Caseworker talked with the school to see if they had resources to offset the cost to no avail. Caseworker also reached out to other funding sources at Denver Human Services which could not assist either at this time. Caseworker is asking for $70 in gift cards (or whatever amount is possible) so the two children can attend the book fair and pick out books for over the summer that will belong to them. Grandmother is on a budget and does not have the extra income for the children either.
