I have a mom on my caseload who was in a severe domestic violent relationship and has since left that relationship. She has been diligently working her plan and correcting the conditions to make her home safe for her and her kids who are now placed back in her home. Mom is employed full-time, however due to the adjustment of the children in the home and her having to take off a few hours a week to attend counseling along with extra expenses, finances have been strained and she is short on paying her rent that is due June 5th.
