We are working with a teen youth who recently has been removed from her mother for the first time. She has been struggling in school and with her peers. She has recently gotten into trouble that caused her to be a part of the teen court program. The program allows teens to be reviewed by their peers and they are to determine the consequence of the offense. As part of the program, the youth will also have to participate in the teen court program in the future. This is great program to prevent youth from going into the judicial system for minor offenses. The cost of the program in $70 and the youth's placement, her grandmother, is having a hard time paying the fee. It is an extra cost that the family was not expecting. We are asking for a $70 Visa gift card in order to pay for the court fee. Due to the schedule of the family, caseworker will deliver the gift card. Thank you so much for your consideration.
