Hello there! I am reaching out for assistance for a prospective adoptive family who has been the foster care placement for a 7-year-old for the past 10 months. The child has grown incredibly close to the family and they have worked tirelessly to ensure that she feels safe, loved, and free to express herself without fear of judgment or rejection. Over the past few months, the child's behaviors have become increasingly more concerning- to the point where the family recently had to have their dog euthanized as a result of the child's abusive behaviors toward it. The family was under the impression that the child had learned from the incident and that it would not happen again, however, she was recently observed abusing their other dogs while in the backyard playing. The family also recently welcomed twins into the family and there are some concerns for their safety. Because of this, the family is requesting financial assistance with purchasing a camera system for their backyard (to ensure that the child as well as their dogs remain safe) along with two motion-activated door sensors that can be placed on the doors of the child and the newborn twins. Any assistance with these needs that you may be able to provide would be immensely appreciated.
