The female child is 1.5 years old and living with her father. The father is working full time and doing his best to make ends meet. He shared with me today that he often will only eat every other day to ensure that his daughter has food. We are working with him to get food assistance, however the biggest issue at this time is the father does not have a vehicle, so he has to UBER to work, to doctors' appointments, childcare and the grocery store. The father would benefit from gift cards for UBER so that he has some funds freed up for other household needs. He shared his frustration with going to the store and spending $20 for necessities such as diapers and the trip costing him over $40.
