A pregnant mother with four children (ages 10, 6, 5 & 2) contacted the agency for food assistance. The mother was expecting her PEBT card to help offset groceries for her family before entering the hospital on August 3 for the birth of her baby. The EBT card did not arrive and she only has macaroni and cheese and some other small items to last until Tuesday, August 1. She is requesting assisting with groceries for the weekend so her children can be fed and have additional food while in the hospital.
