Hello! Bedford County DSS is working with a prevention client and requesting support for this family. Grandma is helping to take care of her grandson. The child's mother is out of the picture and the father lives out of state and does nothing to support grandma or his son. DSS is asking for help with grandma to get her lawn mower fixed. She struggles financially because she takes care of her grandson and does not receive child support from both parents. She needs someone to look at her lawn mower or possibly a new one to help her mow the lawn. Grandma is also open to support for her grandson who struggles coping without his father.
