This request is for a spirited 15-year-old female who is a Type 1 diabetic who is insulin-dependent and is starting the reunification process with her bio mother. She was in care for over a year and the clothes that she had from a year ago no longer fit. She has very limited attire and shoes for school and daily wear. The child needs clothes that fit and are school-appropriate. She wears a large in women’s clothing, 14 juniors in pants, and a size 8 in women’s shoes. The mother has several children to care for, including one outside of the one in care who has chronic medical issues. This donation of new clothes or gift cards to a clothing store would assist in meeting a need that the mother cannot afford at this time.
