The mother was staying at FCC and is now staying in an apartment in Cape Girardeau, MO, with a friend. The mother has a history of mental illness and substance abuse. The child tested positive for opiates at birth but, was believed to be from the epidural that the mother received. The mother has agreed to do a random drug screen. The mother is put on the color system, for at least the next three months. When the mother's color is called, the mother has to go to ebo labs and test. The mother is on SSI and food stamps. The mother does not have transportation or any additional financial help. The mother is requesting cap coupons to be able to get to the lab for testing, which can be as often as 4 times a month or more. If the mother is able to drug screen and the drug screen continues to be negative, it would show that the mother is complying with CD recommendations and working toward case being closed successfully.
