Looking for help for a fictive kin placement who is taking permanent custody of two children, but is needing help with daycare to maintain permanent care. Due to a freeze in state funding for daycare, the family cannot get help from the state to fund the daycare. The two young children are under 5 and are very happy and comfortable in the home. They are well taken care of and the caretaker can afford to meet their daily needs while working full time, but cannot afford to also pay for daycare. Without daycare they would not be able to work and afford to take care of the kids whom they love dearly and want to keep out of the foster care system. This family is hoping for help from the community to assist with daycare for at least the next six months until they can get further daycare. The cost of daycare is extremely high for all families in today's world and we are hopeful that those who are able will help contribute to meeting these children's needs.
