The Department is currently working with a mother and her three children due to neglect. The mother works full time but is struggling financially. The mother currently drives one child to and from Charlotte daily in order for the child not to miss school. We would like to request assistance to the family by providing several gas cards to help with this travel situation regarding the child having to be transported back and forth to Charlotte for school.
