A young grandmother has recently taken in her two grandchildren from out of state to prevent them from coming into foster care. She is in need of car seats for the children and a few essentials to meet their needs. SCC is assisting with other supportive services, but they would benefit from receiving these items and community support. The youngest child is in need of a convertible car seat that can be rear and forward facing. The older child is in need of a forward-facing car seat that could also transition to a booster seat once he is old enough. The youngest child is in need of size 4 diapers and wipes. The oldest is potty training currently and the grandmother would be really appreciative of size 4T boys underwear during this time. Grandmother is really kind and so appreciative of any support. She is hoping to find a babysitter for occasional times and would likely enjoy the support and involvement of a local church.
