Hello! Thank you for considering donating to my client. My client is 17 years old and has been in foster care/ treatment facilities for the past 10 years. She recently was living with an aunt who had bed bugs, so she had to throw away all of her clothes. She is not currently working due to needing to focus on school. Caseworker visited her at school, and she had a dirty hoodie on and sweatpants with a big rip near her upper thigh. She had to throw away everything including coats, shoes and clothes. ACDHS has no placement options for her, so she is starting to live with some family members, but they are not able/ willing to support her financially at all. She is also needing a laundry basket to keep her clothes separate. She also needs dove body wash no scents, Vaseline and Coco butter lotion. In addition, a $200 Visa Gift card to get her hair done would be so appreciated if you are able. She is needing her hair braided and caseworker would ensure the gift card went right to the hairdresser. My client has cried several times about going to school with her hair not done and is very self-conscious about it.
She is in need of women clothes size XL or XXL. Women shoes size 10 or men size 8.5. Winter Jacket, boots, shoes, hoodies, leggings, laundry basket.
Simple dove body wash no scents, Vaseline, Coco butter lotion.
$200 Visa Gift card to get her hair braided
Any gift of any amount toward her needs would be greatly appreciated by her.

I have a child who was just returned home to biomother. This family has endured tremendous loss as a 2-month-old died and biofather had to move out of the home. Biomother has several appointment's each week for herself and the child. Biomother works but with the loss of dad's income she could use a gas card to assist with all the appointments.

We have a sibling group we have worked with for years and who could desperately use new shoes. Many of their shoes are old or have holes, which hasn't fared well for them with the weather this winter. We would like to gift them new shoes for the Holidays and to ensure they have comfortable and protective footwear for the upcoming months. I have all 5 sizes for the youth if there is a donor who is gracious enough to purchase or make a monetary donation for us to purchase. Thank you so much!

The family has been involved with The Department for an extended period of time due to multiple concerns. Mom lost her job several months ago and was receiving assistance and took some time off to focus on the children's mental health. There is a significant history of trauma and mental health with Mom and she is very overwhelmed. She has been the victim of DV and recently made a very positive decision to send all but one of her children to other family members to allow herself to focus on getting things in order for herself. They live in a duplex and when the neighbors secured services to eliminate roaches in their home, the insects moved into the family's home and this has been a long standing struggle with the landlord to remedy. Mom has been working very hard to clean up the home, however, with lack of resources this continues to prove a difficult task. The family is in need of cleaning supplies including beach, general cleaning sprays and disinfectants, trash bags, a mop and bucket, kitchen trash can, cleaning sponges or rags, ect.

A mother would love to buy a Christmas present for her son, but her financial situation is making this nearly impossible. She is a cancer survivor, and residual effects of treatment has left her unable to work and critically low on funds. Her son lives with her husband, primarily, and understands his mother's situation. Because of this, the son does not want to put further burdens on his mother by asking for Christmas gifts. It's our hope that we can get a present for this mother's son, so that she can share love of Christmastime with him. The son would love two things for his room: a humidifier and a warm comforter. Any kind of humidifier would be great, and his bed is a queen size. If we were able to get these presents for him, it would mean the world to both the son and the mother, proving that their bond is still strong, despite difficult circumstances.

Navigator is working with a single mother of 2 boys who is currently struggling financially. Client needs coats, hats and gloves for her 2 sons. Gently used coats are acceptable or maybe gift cards to help the family purchase coats for the kids. The kids are in kids sizes 9 and 7. I believe these are size mediums.

I have a biological mother who attends weekly family time sessions with her daughter who is 11 and treatment. She is working her treatment plan in hopes of being reunified with her daughter. She is currently homeless but just got a job at a Veterinary Office. She can only work so many hours a week due to a car accident that has left her with pain. She has disability pending. This mom has a car that needs emissions and tags. She does not have the money for this. She could use an American Express gift card or cash to help her with these two things. Updated on December 06, 2023 by an Agency Worker Biomother is still in need of assistance with these two needs. Any help would be much appreciated. She is trying really hard to do everything she can to be reunified with her daughter.
