Mom is working with PCAP services and one of the case plan task is to work on the hygiene of her kiddos. She has a daughter and a set of twins (girls) who are needing new clothing that are clean and fit properly. Mom is currently unemployed. As part of working on their hygiene, non-soiled clothing & shoes would be a great stepping stone!
Sizes needed: 2t shirt/pants/dress, 6/7 shoe (toddler) and 9 shoe (toddler). If jeans can be retrieved in addition to shorts, that would be great!
A - 17-yr-old female is living with her aunt, 3 cousins, and uncle. Things are going well and this is a good home for her. The parents are working hard and doing their best to provide but things are tight. The aunt's hours from work have been cut recently and so their budget has been squeezed tightly. The aunt said her utility bill jumped and now they are in danger of the power going off. Can you please help their electricity stay on? They don't want their niece moved because they lose their electricity. Anything that you do will help tremendously. Thank you for your generosity and help in this desperate time of need for this family.
'A' has been in foster care for several years after failed adoptions. She has overcome many struggles to graduate high school and now works as a Para at a middle school with certified nursing aide tasks as needed. 'A' also worked two other part-time jobs to save for her new apartment. 'A' is a fun, caring young lady with a strong emotional support system. 'A' will be moving to her apartment on June 1st. Can we please help her with some new or gently used items? Thank you so much for anything that you can help with in order to get her set up for her own place.
This child has been the foster care system for many years. In his young life he has learned some unhealthy habits. He is now currently developing and growing while his needs are being met. We are asking for the balance of a 10-week summer camp program to be paid. The total cost of the program is $1,700.00. KC Parks and Recreation has offered a 50% scholarship to attend camp. CASA is able to cover the cost of one week of summer camp. Leaving a balance $850.00. This would be a great program for child to continue to grow and learn skills.

A smart & vibrant 10- year old has been placed in the care of her aunt for the past two years. During that time her aunt has taken her in to her home and provided her with a safe, loving and stable home. Her aunt moved into a better neighborhood and school district to provide her niece a better lifestyle. Shortly after moving the aunt lost her job and is now struggling to make ends meet. She has gone through all of the steps to take guardianship of this youth & is awaiting guardianship any day now. The youth is in need of some things that the aunt is unable to provide at this time. She is in need of some summer clothing, girls size 10 tops & shorts, women's shoes size 6.5. or 7 tennis shoes. If you are able to help out with this need it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The parents have three children, a boy, age eight and two girls, age five and six. The eight-year-old is Autistic and the parents have been in the home since August of 2020. Dad said he lost his job at Walmart due to being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and they became behind in rent. He took on temp jobs and his wife is currently starting a job as well to help with the income. Dad said for a few weeks the temp agency had very few jobs and they weren’t able to pay the past due and current rent, along with bills. They are wanting help so they can keep their home and keep the eight-year-old in the same school due to his Autism. Please and thanks for any consideration!!
Single mother of two needs help with securing two new bedroom doors for her room and her son's room. The daughter suffers from mental health issues. Mother and son need to have working doors that can be securely locked from the inside to provide them peace of mind and safety. The doors and installation are needed.
A family of four, mother, father, and two sons ( 2, and 3 years old) moved into a new home and currently only have 2 pack-n-plays for their sons to sleep in. Mom expressed to this worker that if she had the funds she would buy them their own twin-size bed for their new home. Both boys are getting too big physically to comfortably sleep in a pack-n-play and would both benefit from upgrading to a twin-size bed.

Single mother of a two-year-old who receives no support from child's dad. She recently had to put her mother on hospice and her dad had emergency surgery. She was working at MWSU until she missed too much work taking care of her dad. She has checked several resources, but none were able to help because she is not working. It is hard for her to ask for help, but she is facing eviction. She owes 1,714.00. She is going to check about getting on housing but that won't help with her eviction.

3 children who were recently removed from the home are in need of beds in order to remain at a relative placement. They have bedding, they just need a bed/mattress per state policy.
Hello! KVC is asking for a donation of two sets of bunk beds and 4 mattresses to go on the frames. We recently had a set of grandparents take in 6 of their grandchildren and are in need of proper sleeping arrangements. Due to the size of the rooms the children are sharing, bunk beds would be the most efficient option for this family. We would really love to keep all 6 of these siblings together, but they need to have proper sleeping arrangements to do so. We appreciate your consideration in advance. God bless!

A single mom is in need of beds for her and her three children after obtaining her own housing. She has been financially struggling after losing several jobs when her eldest repeatedly ran away and mother would take off from work to look for her. Things are looking brighter now, and she is in need of beds for their home as they've all been sleeping on the floor. They would need two twin mattresses and two full-sized mattresses preferably, but are willing to have anything. If it's within your means, they will also need frames. Mother and the children's favorite colors are black and red.

Part of the reason for the referral in this case was lack of housing stability. When the police came into this home (of ten children) there were only two toddler sized mattresses for all ten children. The parents have since acquired some appropriate bed arrangements but still need two bunk beds (four beds, 2 bunks) and a toddler bed frame. Any additional bedding or housing things for children 3mo-18 would be extremely helpful to reunify this family.

The child in need is a young kiddo getting into Gymnastics. She has been loving it and everytime we go for visits she shows us her new "tumbling" skills. Placement reports that she's never seen the kiddo smile brighter than landing a tough move being taught at Gymnastics. It always makes me feel safer with my clients knowing they have activities to keep them busy that are productive, safe and fun lead by trusted individuals and organizations.

The Agency Worker we received to arrange this connection is inaccurate. Can the current agency worker contact Faith Walkers Outreach with instruction or we receive send approval to send refund to the responder?
Relative placement had a stroke and another family member who already had custody of one of the siblings is willing to take the other, but needs help with a bunk bed.
This request is to help a child (14) in foster care who has recently joined their respective schools dance team attend a competition in March of 2024 in Florida. The child this donation would be helping has had an uncanny ability to remain positive given a difficult situation they have been in for over a year now. During every interaction with them they show how they are up beat, personable, caring, and kind. Along with this showing how much they have grown as an individual since entering foster care. This opportunity is something that this child has expressed a great deal of interest in being able to go to and smiles when discussing it. Any donations to help aid in the ability for this child to attend this trip is greatly appreciated not only by her, her placement, but by the case manager requesting this as well. Thank you.

This mother was working 2 jobs while pregnant and trying to save up before giving birth. Her son came early though and was very premature. She has stopped working to be with him at the hospital and is attempting to breastfeed him since that is best for all babies but especially premature babies, but she now cannot afford her rent. She will likely be off for at least 8 weeks. Her rent is $1,300.00.
The mother may be able to return to work after 8 weeks to maintain her livelihood, but in the meantime needs extra support since she had tried to plan for this event and the baby had other ideas about when to be born Updated on May 10, 2023 by an Agency Worker Mom now has an eviction notice with a baby about to come home from the NICU and this request is even more urgent. Help would allow this baby to go home with his mother.
Family recently moved to a new home and the home did not come with a refrigerator. They do not have the money to purchase a refrigerator at this time and the landlord is not providing one for them. There are 6 children in the home, ages 1 year-11 years.
There are also concerns about the children's safety with opening the door to strangers. There is a lock on the front door, but the young children know how to unlock it and open the door. They have opened the door to strangers in the past, so we are also requesting door knob covers or locks or door guards to prevent the younger children from opening the door.

I have a refrigerator that is in good shape, however, one of the shelves need some TLC...maybe some duct tape to reinforce it from bottoming out if food is on it...and it might need a little spring cleaning. They are welcome to it if they are interested.
