Hello! I have a single grandmother that is currently caring for her 3 year old granddaughter given that the 3 year old's parents are struggle with substance abuse. We were able to get child care set up, but prior she had to pay the first day for the child. The grandmother is on a tight budget and especially now that she is the primary caregiver of her granddaughter. She would really appreciate the help with a $130 visa gift card that was the cost of daycare for one day with the child. Thank you!

Single father or 4 is struggling with transportation needs. He recently lost his transportation because the car he drove had repairs that were more expensive then the car was worth. He works independently and needs to be able to have his tools with him and drive to the locations where he finds work. He has a resource where he can buy a used car for a very affordable price but he needs help with a down payment.

I have a child who was just returned home to biomother. This family has endured tremendous loss as a 2-month-old died and biofather had to move out of the home. Biomother has several appointment's each week for herself and the child. Biomother works but with the loss of dad's income she could use a gas card to assist with all the appointments.

I have a biological mother who attends weekly family time sessions with her daughter who is 11 and treatment. She is working her treatment plan in hopes of being reunified with her daughter. She is currently homeless but just got a job at a Veterinary Office. She can only work so many hours a week due to a car accident that has left her with pain. She has disability pending. This mom has a car that needs emissions and tags. She does not have the money for this. She could use an American Express gift card or cash to help her with these two things. Updated on December 06, 2023 by an Agency Worker Biomother is still in need of assistance with these two needs. Any help would be much appreciated. She is trying really hard to do everything she can to be reunified with her daughter.

This family is struggling with homelessness. The family consist of a single mother and three younger children. The family was previously staying at a shelter but was kicked out for not making it back in time in the evening due to vehicle issues. The mother is trying to find another shelter to stay at and has applied to numerous housing resources and all of them are on waitlist. Unfortunately the mother's only other choice is to sleep in the car with the children until she can find another shelter. The family is in need of sleeping bags that are rated for negative degrees to help keep them warm overnight. I think they would only need two sleeping bags as two of the children can share and the mother can share with one of the children as well. I found a sleeping bag on Amazon for $179 called ALPS OutdoorZ Sleeping-Bags Redwood -25.

We are working with a mother that has been homeless for a year. She just found out she is getting into transitional housing on 12/1/23, right before Christmas. Ideally, she will have her son home with her before Christmas so he can spend some time with her before she delivers a new baby in March. She needs all house things, as well as items for the baby. I had her create a registry for baby items if you could share with the folks you know.

Queen Mattress + Frame + sheet/comforter set
Twin Frame (have a mattress) + boy sheet set and comforter
Small Dining Table and chairs
Small Couch/Something to sit on

This family consist of a single mother caring for four children. The mother is struggling with some of the children's behaviors. The children have been sneaking out of the home at night. Mom is doing everything she can to get the behaviors under control with services such as therapy. The mom feels that something that could help ensure the children are staying at home and not sneaking out in the middle of the night is having chimes on all the doors and windows. The mother needs support in getting these chimes. There are at least three doors that need a chime and 6 windows that need chimes.

We are working with a mother that stays in and out of motels and she needs a way to cook for her child during visits and her unborn child. Currently she only has access to a microwave and she would like an electric skillet to make some healthier options for her and her children.

Karen & Rick Palm can provide either a WalMart or Target Gift Card for this. In addition we have a gently used smaller microwave in our church inventory that she would be welcome to if the one she is using is in the hotel lobby. Please advise. Rick Palm
I am working with a mother who's children are currently in placement. She recently lost her home and a lot of her belongings after being evicted. Following this, she was homeless for a while before going into treatment. She has struggled with getting things back and is hopeful to get some assistance. Because she is in treatment she is unable to work. Her primary need at this time is new shoes. She does not have many and specifically asked for tennis shoes. She is a size 8-8.5. Any support to help her with this need would be appreciated!

This family is in need of a lock box in order to keep medications in it. The mother and both of the children have medical issues and all take medication. The children are both special needs and sometimes try to get into things they shouldn't. This family having a lock box will help ensure the children do not get into medications they are not suppose to have.

I am working with a kin-family who is working towards adoption of their two grandsons. They have placement of a 1.5 year old and a 5 year old.
They recently got the 5 y/o a new bed, but it only came with a mattress and a frame. Because there is no box spring, there is a gap between the headboard and mattress which results in his pillow falling down. The family is requesting a box spring for a twin bed. It does not need to be anything fancy!

Hello! I have a 16 year old male that has been struggling to get to school and has diabetes. The teen has an extensive history of trauma, as his dad passed away of alcoholism and his mother is currently homeless and struggling with substance abuse. The teen is currently living with a family friend that took him in to avoid possible foster care placement, and also has children of her own. The teen has been saving money to get a car for reliable transportation to school, and needs $200 more dollars to purchase the car. If he were to walk to school, it would take him about an hour, and this poses a risk for him passing out due to his diabetes. His caregiver leaves early in the morning for work, and is unable to drive him to school. The teen is wanting to get back on track with his academics and be the first one in his family to graduate from high school. We would greatly appreciate the remaining $200 for the teen to be able to purchase a car to get to school. Thank you!!
