I have a natural mother who has been doing really well. The natural mother is currently looking for employment but is limited do to not having transportation and no money to purchase a bus pass. The natural mother is doing really well and has her infant child in the home with her. The bus pass will assist with her attending appointments for her infant child. The natural mother also has weekly visitation with her older three children, and this will help her attend her visitations.

I have a natural mother who is unemployed and not able to purchase her own bus pass. The natural mother needs assistance with a bus pass to attend her family time with her infant daughter, attend her treatment plan, and attend court hearings. The natural mother is also homeless at this time.

A kinship foster mother who is the grandmother to teen child placed with her has two shut off notices. One shut off notice is for electric and one shut off notice is for her gas. She also owes back rent to her landlord. This foster mother is currently trying to become fully approved but has had to miss some of her training due to her car breaking down and she has had to use much of her money to repair her car. I have confirmed these needs by receiving copies of her shut off notices. If these needs aren't met the child may have to placed in a traditional home and not stay with his grandmother whom he has had a relationship with during his entire life.

Grandpa, mom and 2 year old toddler live in the home. They are financially struggling to pay bills because grandpa is having a hard time finding employment right now. Mom is staying at home with the 2 year old child. Their water has been shut off for approximately two weeks, using water jugs and traveling to other peoples homes to shower and do laundry. The family also is struggling with a roach infestation needing assistance with extermination. Fulfilling this need will improve the 2 year old and caregivers daily living and well-being as well as providing a sanitary household.

I have a dad who is attempting to reunify with his three children. He needs help paying his Cricket phone bill. This father works for himself so without access to a phone he has no way to make contact with his clients.

I have a mom who is trying to get reunification of her four children. She and her spouse have split so she is trying to pay the rent of $1000 per month all by herself and she is receiving SSI. I am requesting assistance with one month rent to help her figure out something. She has a lot on her plate as her twins were born at 22 weeks.

I have a dad who is attempting to reunify with his three children. He currently owes $200 to PSO on the back electric so he has only been able to do Power Pay and get a couple days at a time. We are requesting that back pay be paid along with $100 extra to help him.

I have a family in a situation where they do not have regular access to activities to keep entertained. The mom is asking for a portable DVD player so the kids can watch movies in a quiet environment when playing with toys is not an option. This will help keep the kids occupied and help lessen the behaviors related to boredom.

We are needing assistance for a mother and her 2 biological children (boys). Due to a domestic situation the mother had to leave her home abruptly and leave “All” the families belongings behind in in another state. Since moving to this area the mother has secured a 2-BDR home for her and the children, however she has very little in the home and is in great need of beds and bedding for the children. Mother does not have transportation at this time so she will need assistance transporting large/heavy furniture items to her home.

OKSA student in financial need to help aid her in paying rent and utilities (PSO-Electric) in her home for herself and her child due to illness that caused her to missed work. Her absence from work was excused without pay. Assistance with September's rent and utilities will allow this student to continue to further her education and alleviate the risk of eviction and the students fear of being homeless or without basic utilities in her home for her to complete her education and to continue to provide for her child.

Hello everyone, I have an adopted mother on my caseload in the final stages of adopting a sibling set. The children are ages 5, 9, and 10. They all have been in the home going on three years in October. The adoptive mom desperately needs her utility bill paid because of a surge in pricing. The adoptive mom has done a tremendous job caring for all three children and giving them the life and care they weren’t used to before coming into custody. When I visit the family, the siblings constantly tell me how they feel loved and safe with their new mother. As their worker, I can see the extraordinary change with the girls. They always appear to be at peace, happy, and thriving. The family would surely be grateful if anyone in the community could assist with half or all of the bill.

Seven children were removed on 09/06/23 due to significant neglect (educational, enviormental, and physical), as well as substance use. The children have severe lice infestations and typical over the counter treatments have not been successful for at least two of the seven children. The Department is intending to have at least two of the children professionally treated for lice so they can retain their hair and return to school. The children are in significant discomfort because of the lice.

I have a mother that has been juggling work and trying to make it to her classes at DVIS. She missed consecutive classes due to work and in order for her to be reinstated she must pay a fee. She has been working hard to reunify her family by taking all her required classes, therapy, and keeping employment. This mom can really use and appreciate some help at this time.

A tulsa county kinship family is in high need for assistance with their natural gas bill. Oklahoma Natural Gas has disconnected the family from their gas service, and the family has no additional funds to help pay for the outstanding bill. The family consists of a single mother, a son, and two foster children. Foster mom was unfortunately let go from her position at work due to unforseen circumstances, and has had difficulty securing a new position. She continues to be incredibly patient and flexible, and steps up to gain placement of additional relatives with no other place to go. The current outstanding balance is approximately $587. Any and all assistance in bringing this balance lower will be greatly appreciated and will help bring this family back to a sense of normalcy and well deserved comfort.

The foster parent's furniture is old and in need of a new couch. The foster mom is asking if she could get a sectional couch/matching furniture if possible. She has been doing a great job fostering the child and is in the process of adopting the foster child. The foster child enjoys living in the home with the foster parent.

I have a single mother who is in urgent need of rent and utility assistance this month. She was recently able to be reunified with her 4 children and has been able to maintain her finances up until recently. Her employer is closing their offices following financial issues which has lead to her and others not getting paid on time or at all. She is currently seeking employment elsewhere, but in the meantime she would need help with bills this month. She currently owes $730 dollars in rent plus at $75 dollar late fee and $63.40 on her gas bill which was due on 8/29. Anything will help! Thank you!
