A single mother who is completing treatment court and starting a trial home visit is needing a crib and mattress for her son. She has a pack n play but would prefer him to sleep in a crib for safer sleep. She also needs a box spring and bed frame or a bed frame that doesn't need a box spring for her full size bed.
I have a family who has been working to better their lives through Christ and hard work. A married couple have both obtained employment that require to pay $30.00 a week for transport. The family will need $60.00 today in order to pay for their transportation to and from work next week.
This is a very proactive family that is new to the area and has already obtained housing, community support, worship, and employment. They just need help until they get that first paycheck. I love this family and so would you.
Unlicensed foster family home is infested with roaches.
We are looking for help with paying for treatment for this home, therefore this family not only can live in an environment without roaches, but be able to be licenses, therefore a child that has been removed can maintain living with them.
The family has tried to handle the issue themselves, but hasn't been able to take care of the situation at hand. I do believe a professional to go in to handle the situation. The family did state at one point they was using Orkin, but I do believe due to funding they weren't able to keep the services.
Estimated a single treatment at most places is $100.00-$400.00. Updated on January 26, 2023 by an Agency Worker Update information: The family has a previous balance with Orkin of $189. She stated first service would be $115 and then $65 every month.
Hello! I have a older foster youth, age 19, who is getting ready to have a baby the first of February. She lives in a Independent Living Arrangement with her boyfriend. She and her boyfriend both are working but once the baby is born she will not have any income coming in to help meet their financial needs. They recently moved from a temporary place to a more stable environment for them to bring their baby home to but this took most if not all their money to secure housing. Her boyfriend continues to work however he has been sick and has missed a significant amount of work. They are needing help with rent for February and utilities so they do not run the risk of being homeless with a newborn. This youth does plan on returning to working after 6 to 8 weeks after the birth but she does not have any money saved to use while she is on maternity leave. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I have a child on my case load that is having extreme meltdowns and has a very difficult time regulating his emotions when he gets upset. His prior placement that was family was unsuccessful and they believed he was just "bad." Children's Division is working to get the child evaluated for extra help and therapies but at his new placement they are trying everything to help him. They have bought sensory toys, sensory play things, etc. He seems to respond very well to a weighted blanket when he uses it at daycare. The placement does not have one and was wondering if we would be able to help them purchase one. I would love to help this placement as they are trying their best to preserve the placement as well, however, they do have other children in the home and have to look out for their best interest as well. This would be so helpful for this child and this foster family. Thank you!

We have two little boys who are growing way too fast for Grandmother's liking, but we can't slow mother nature down. One of the boys has been sleeping in a crib because he had a below the knee amputation. The other boy has been sleeping on a pallet on the floor. The grandmother reached out and asked if there is any way she can get two toddler beds so the boys can sleep side by side with one another since the crib has been outgrown. The boy's bio mom has been on a continuous life party and abandoned the boys almost a year ago. The grandmother has decided to file for guardianship of the boys due to their mother's recklessness behaviors, so the boys aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
A mom who has her child on a trial home visit has found herself about to lose her job. She is needing someone to replace the thermostat in her car. She has the new thermostat in her possession, she just needs someone to install it in the car as she is not mechanically inclined.

This request is for a relative placement who is placement of 2 children placed here from another county. The family is in need of a fire extinguisher, a carbon monoxide detector, a locking medication box, and a crib for the baby. Obtaining these items will allow the children to remain in the home. This request was sent to FosterAdopt Connect a month ago. The request was not processed and possibly lost therefore it was recommended that a CarePortal request be made.
We have a bio mother who has her two children on a trial home visit. Mom has worked wonderfully with Children's Division since her case opened 20 months ago. She has provided for her children with very little assistance. Mom maintains her home and vehicle on her own without assistance. Her 2 year old son has serious medical diagnosis including a recent diagnosis of cerebral palsy. This child is unable to walk and requires a wheelchair. The mom has been unable to afford to build a wheelchair ramp for her home which would assist her when bringing him in and out of the home. A standard wheelchair ramp is straight and does not turn the way she needs it to to be able to get the child in and out of the home; therefore, one would have to be built for their home. We are unsure of what the cost of materials and labor would be for this job. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
A family needs a twin bed frame for a 15 year old male. Parents are participating in treatment court and working but mom has not been working much due to work moving locations. His bed frame broke and he is currently on the floor of his bedroom.
I have a family that has moved into a new rental house. During the move a bunk bed was broken. The beds were going to be used as single beds in separate rooms. One bed frame is still usable, but one is not. I would like to see if a twin size bed frame could be provided for this family. Thank you.
Three children have moved foster homes and their new foster home they are in a new school district. Female 13 years old. Female 9 years old. Female age 2.
Two of the three children are in school, and their current foster placement has asked for help to cover the funding for insurance for the children chrome books.
