Our school has a family of 4 children between the ages of 5 and 11 who qualify for free meals, that are in need of sheets and blankets (not comforters) for their beds for winter. The 11 year old girl has a queen bed, 2 of the boys share a queen bed as well, with another boy in a twin bed. This family is being sponsored by school staff for Christmas for clothes and toys. These children are new to our district this year, coming from out of state. The kids are very cooperative, get along well with other kids, and are pleasant to have in class. Any assistance that can be provided for this family would be greatly appreciated!

This parent has recently dealt with extensive medical issues with her youngest child who also has a twin sibling. We have a new family in our school community who has 4 children at our school. The family lives in a trailer and the oldest child tells me that while the kids all have their own beds, they sleep on the couches because their mattresses are stained and smell badly. The children have not experienced what most kids their age have. They do not have internet but often find ways to entertain themselves without video games and electronics. They have never been to a movie theater. They find joy and value in simple things. There are 2 boys and 2 girls from kindergarten to 4th grade. Kind hearted children.

A mother of two children and her significant other are in need of furniture for their new rental in order to begin overnight visits with her children. The children would need one regular twin bed and one twin loft bed to help with storage and space in their rooms. The family is also requesting to have a futon to help with sleeping arrangements as well due to a tight budget.

A mother and her almost 3y/o son (along with her fiance) were recently put out of the home they shared with the grandmother. The mother has physical and mental health concerns and lacks a strong family support system. They are trying to get their items from the home as they left with minimal items.
The family recently moved in with her father, but it's not believed this to be a long term plan.
The mother was open to a care portal request to help build relationships in the community and to develop a support system.
(The mother is hesitant to work with males and prefers contact with females only)
Foster parent is in need of assistance to fix her van. Foster parent has two children under the age of 5 in her care.
She has a 2004 Dodge Grand Carevan SXT. The heater core has went out.
It is estimated that the heater core will be around $40.00 per foster parent looking into it, but labor is what is going to cost her and she doesn't have funds for.
If anyone could help with funds for labor or could do the labor, it would be greatly appreciated.
(Due to the factor, I am putting in an estimated cost of $300.00.)
I have a mother that has a car of her own but has been struggling with gaining the funds to get it fixed. The mother decided to relocate herself with family closer to jobs, help with childcare, and the fact that she can possibly gain employment in walking distance. This mother has maintained her sobriety and continues to comply with request even with transportation being a major stressor. The mother used the last bit of money she had buy diapers and gain an officially diagnosis for her car. I am not car tech savvy but the mother can explain further what those repairs are and what shop it is located at. The mother planned to use local resources to get around to ensure her child maintains medical appointments. Her Medicaid benefits have not switched over from her previous state yet therefore she cannot use the Medicaid transit. She is currently on probation and needs to be in a outpatient treatment program in the next month or two to comply with the terms of her probation. The mother has taken charge through out the case to put herself into services, apply for new programs, transfer her current benefits, and remain sober. The mother is enrolled in a program but cannot begin until she gains steady transportation to and from the program. The estimate she has is $800 she is hopefully set to begin her new job in the next few weeks to start saving to pay for repairs. If anyone can help with anything towards the repairs this single mother will be truly grateful.
The mother recently moved out of FCC into her own apartment. The mother has started work and is in need of clothes.
the mother wears a medium shirt, large pants, shoe size 8, and bra size 38D. Mother also needs Winter coat size large, a hat, and gloves.
Mark:
Please give her a referral to come by St. Vincent Catholic Church's clothing closet which is open on Saturday mornings. The clothes are free and she can pick out some of her needed items.

I have relative providers who are placement of three young children who are in care. They have legal guardianship of another young child as well as their own child. An adult sibling to one of the providers also lives in the home. One of the infants in care is in need of a crib for safe sleep. The family would benefit from an extra refrigerator or a deep freezer to keep in the garage. They buy in bulk as much as they can but do not have a way to store the perishables. They go through 2-3 gallons of milk a day. The family obtaining a crib will allow the child to safely sleep in the home. The refrigerator or freezer will help the family store food, so they don't have to continue to go to the store multiple times a week.
