14 year old teen girl in foster care has recently been able to reunite with her sisters (E, 11 and R, 12), stepdad, and step-grandmother! The grandmother has been the primary caregiver to E & R, as well as her own sister who has been sick. The grandmother also lost her son recently. Despite all the grief, the grandmother has enthusiastically accepted the 14 year old into her home, but is concerned about keeping up with bills as well as providing a good Christmas. We are looking for Christmas decorations, gift cards, and teen girl items.

A mother who has been dedicated to reunifying with her four children is facing some very hard times. The mother was able to find reliable transportation and housing, however with her not being employed at the moment, she is high risk of losing her vehicle due to outstanding balance. The mother has been involved in medical appointments and any educational decision making. This family is close to reunification; however the mother is struggling to pay bills since her recent injury. The mother has tried to keep her bills paid to ensure she has proper housing for herself and for the children. At this time, the financial request would be towards the mother's car payment, which also allows for the mother to visit with her children consistently.

At this time, My youth is needing financial assistance to help with vehicle repairs. My youth is in need of $360 + Tax to help with replacing an Accelerator Pedal and clean Throttle Body in her 2008 Chevy Impala. There is also a hub bearing growling/hum noise that changes with speed that needs to be addressed. The estimated cost is $360 plus tax to address these issues. My youth's car has broken down once already and had to pay almost $800 in repairs. My youth's job requires her to have stable transportation for work and I am worried her car may break down again if these issues are not addressed. Two children (Boy age 9 and Girl age 8) are living with their biological grandparents after their previous adoptive home fell through. The grandparents are doing a wonderful job of taking care of the kids and getting them the supports and services they need. The children's school is offering a holiday day camp while school is out of session for the Christmas holiday. The family would like financial assistance getting them enrolled so that the elderly grandparents can keep the children in their routine as much as possible for the children's mental health. The program has a $75 enrollment fee per child, and a cost of $30/day/child. This would total to $450 for the two children for the 5 day program.

I work with a family at our school who is a single parent and is employeed and just barely making ends meet. Their bank account information was stollen last week and she is in crisis trying to pay her bills. Her car tag fee is one bill she cannot pay and they are expired by a few weeks and she is worried she will get in trouble. She relies on her vehicle to get her children to school and to drive to her job. The amount of the tags is $245. Good afternoon! I have an 18 yr old youth currently in the custody of the MO children's Division that I am working with to help her transition to adulthood. To that end I am requesting community assistance to help my youth pay off her current phone bill so she can get off her parents plan and get her own phone plan. For context, My youth is currently in a transitional living program and has her own apartment in Jackson County. She has a job and is working on transitioning to living independently without assistance from others. At this time, My youth has a phone but her phone plan is still on her parents. The parents themselves are homeless, and not financially dependable to pay the family plan (despite my youth paying her end each month). This has resulted in my youth losing service numerous times due to her parents being unable to pay the entire phone bill. My youth does not have internet in her apartment, and she needs reliable phone service to request stay in communication with me, request ubers, and have a lifeline in case of emergency. Currently only $400 remains to pay off her phone. Once she has this, she will be able to go to phone store with her parents and pay the remainder of her phone which will allow her to switch service providers. My youth plans to switch to mint mobile. My youth's phone is currently off so any assistance to help support this youth would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This request is to help parents in being able to throw a birthday party for their two year old daughter at Chuck E Cheese. This is one of six children and one of four birthdays in December and January. By covering the cost for the party would alleviate some of that stress the parents experience during this time to make sure their children get to have fun on their birthdays, get presents for their birthday, while also making sure that they are able to get all the children presents for Christmas.

Mom is working really hard but just needs some extra support. Mother is asking for help with groceries and payment of her utility bill to alleviate concerns for children going hungry, and to ensure they are getting fed properly. It will also ensure their electricity does not get shut off as the holidays and cold weather approach.

A single mother raising two children has been facing difficulties finding work because of health issues and not being able to drive. She's reaching out for help to get a new mattress and box spring for her family. However, just mattresses will work fine as well. The family's current beds are almost a decade old, falling apart, and were hand-me downs. On top of that, the mother deals with Psoriasis and Arthritis, and her pain has been worsening because her bed doesn't provide enough support. Unfortunately, the family hasn't had success getting help from local resources for beds. They urgently need a Queen-sized bed and two twin-sized beds. If they could get assistance with this, it would greatly improve their sleep, relieve the discomfort of sleeping on worn-out beds, and ease the stress the mother feels from struggling to find suitable beds for her family.
