A boys home for boys in need would like to ask for items so they can take the boys swimming throughout the summer. Providing activities for the boys to feel special and loved is so important.

SINGLE MOTHER WITH TWO BOYS (AGES 9 AND 13) NEEDING SOMEONE TO HELP PUT IN DOORS IN HOME. THERE IS A STANDARD DOOR WITH DOORFRAME THAT NEED TO BE INSTALLED (BEDROOM TO KITCHEN) AND THEN THERE ARE FRENCH DOORS FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE LIVING ROOM. ONE OF THE FRENCH DOORS IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY BUT THE OTHER ONE IS KIND OF PROPPED UP - RUNNER ON THE TOP IS NOT IN THE RIGHT TRACK. MOTHER IS NEEDING DOORS TO HELP SEPARATED HER BOYS AT NIGHT SO YOUNGER BOY FEELS SAFE.

The Family with the request is a 2 parent family with 4 children and a child with them for kinship placement. Mom is full time caregiver for the children and they rely on Dad's work income as their primary income. Dad was injured and was unable to work for a short time, causing the family to fall behind on their mortgage payment. In addition, they are now also budgeting for additional travel expenses for the child with them for kinship placement having multiple appointments in neighboring towns. This has made it difficult for them to get caught back up on their mortgage payments. They are needing a one time assistance of $250. This would allow the family to get caught back up and relieve stress and financial burden for them.

Mother 35yo is a single Mother of 13yo and 14yo girls. Mother has suffered depression and anxiety to a debilitating point, but does go to work everyday and it is hard work. Mother has allowed her home to become a hazard for the children's health. The girls both have asthma. Mother is gone from 4am to 4:30p in afternoon. She is not making sure the girls are getting to school on time or at all. The 13yo likes attending school, so she does find rides. There is a bus which stops to pick up the girls to go to school. 14yo does not like going to school, she has not attended in 1.5years. SHe can hardly walk outside, due to anxiety. She is on VR and has virtual friends and family, so she is not engaging with humans in person. The girls are on their phones constantly. The girls have been on their phones at night, and Mother falls asleep so early due to her job that they are not made to get off their technology at night. The children have gone to stay during the daytime with their aunt and uncle for summer, and they can sleep at home at night, because they do have space to sleep. The home needs cleaned. Mother agreed to use lock box (DCF paid) for the cell phones and technology where she can lock it up and the girls have a bed time. The aunt is keeping the girls busy during the day, they have even gone to the apartment to clean up and the aunt has mentioned it is too much for them to handle without some kind of professional hoarding cleaner expert who can come into the home. The girls will be receiving therapy and have insurance for this. The girls need a city pool pass, zoo pass, pottery classes from Clay Works uptown so the aunt can keep the girls busy this summer so they can be in routine and awake during daytime hours. Mother and the girls want to reunite soon but we told them it would possibly be end of summer before that can occur, summer is short so they need help on cleaning home and activities paid.
