First time parents are expecting their newborn in September. The mother has moved here from Peru and has worked hard to access resources here to start a life with her family. They were recently homeless and the mother has found it difficult to find work. The mother is concerned about their ability to obtain some of the larger baby items needed for their child's safety. They ask for support getting a car seat and stroller, and a crib and mattress. We ask for new items. Thank you for your support!!

A first time mom has recently moved to America from Columbia to study English. She is expecting her baby in September and is hoping to prepare with some of the larger items she will need to properly care for her newborn. She is currently living with her family and says they are struggling financially after her father's company is without much business. The father of the baby is still living in Columbia and is hoping to move to America soon to support his family. The mother studied family medicine in Columbia and is hoping to transfer her career to America to support her family financially. Right now, the mom asks for help getting the car seat and stroller. These items would help her safely transport her baby, and it will be needed in order for her to leave the hospital. We ask for new items. Thank you for your support!

A married couple is expecting their firstborn in about 5 weeks. The mother has immigrated to America from Columbia and lacks support and community here. Her husband works full time to provide, but the cost of the larger necessary items for their baby has been challenging to come up with. They are asking for support with the car seat and stroller, and a bassinet. These items will offer support and safety to their child for transportation and sleeping. Thank you for your support!

They are in need of a new car seat in order to leave the hospital safely with their newborn. They are also in need of a new toddler car seat for their older child in order to transport their children safely. The family has been living in America for about 1 year and are taking work wherever they can and accessing many resources. Thank you for your support!

A married couple is expecting their firstborn towards the end of this year. The mother is an immigrant from another country, and the husband is working in the military. They are hoping to prepare for their babies arrival with the tangible needs they anticipate being challenging to obtain on their own. They are asking for support with a car seat/stroller combination, and a crib with the mattress. These items would secure safety and ease with transportation. We ask for new items. I have been working with this family for about two years. At this point, maternal grandparents are nearing adoption for their three grandchildren who are 4, 5, and 13. Prior to this, I worked with the children's biological parents in an attempt to reunify. Biological mother selflessly relinquished her parental rights after deciding she was not going to be able to safely care for her kids and knowing her parents would be the best home for the kids. Mom struggled with addiction and as of lately had started coming around to help out with the kids again as she had gotten sober and wanted to help her parents out. We received the news on 5/18 that mom had passed away and it was likely related to an overdose.
The family is heartbroken and grandparents are doing whatever they can to get things in order and care for the kids. They are needing assistance in burial costs and anything would help. This request is asking for anything to be done regarding mom's funeral and memorial.

This is a single mom who has recently been evicted from her apartment and now residing in a sober home for 30 days. She is working to get money so that when she is out she can get a place of her own. While doing this, she is also attempting to re-engage in her schooling program to get her degree. Her laptop charger has been lost in the move and she is not without. She is asking for help getting this replaced. It is an HP laptop and she will just need a general charger.

I am working with a single mother who is only 21. She is a human trafficking victim and has been in and out of sober homes for the last eight months. The last sober home she was at she was asked to leave, but when this happened they took all of her stuff and either donated it or threw it away. This has left her with only a few clothing items and not much else. One of her belongings that got thrown away was her hair piece which is a big part of her confidence and she now is without. She is couch hopping at this time and could utilize some assistance to get a new hair piece, clothing, and toiletries.
This request is for a $75 Amazon Card so she can order what is needed. The card can be electronic to best get it to her.

An 8-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, were recently placed with their Aunt and Uncle, who are non-certified kinship caregivers. The cost of travel to multiple appointments a week for visitation with parents, therapies and other appointments for the children, is having a significant impact on the family's budget and their ability to meet other basic needs of the children in the home. Gif cards to King Soopers or Walmart to help with gas would be greatly appreciated. Also, both children play basketball, and the family would love to get a curbside basketball ho0p system so they can get outside and play at home. There is no preference to new or gently used.

This kinship provider just moved and is need of a bed. The provider does not currently have a bed. They are asking for a queen or king size bed. She has been able to get the needed items for the baby, but it made it so she cannot get what she needs. A bed!
Mother was reunified with her medically fragile son last month and unfortunately her benefits have not kicked in yet and wont until June 1st and she is short on funds for her and her 2 kids and they are in need of groceries.

A single kinship caregiver is caring for her four year old daughter and 5 year old nephew . The child came with nothing to her home. He currently has one pair of shorts, one pair of sneakers and one pair of sandals for summer. She would really appreciate help getting him some new clothes for summer. He currently wears at 3T/4T - he is very slender, so adjustable pants or those with elastic waist are best. Underwear, socks, shorts, t-shirts , tank tops and a swimsuit would be nice for him to have. He wears a size nine shoe. Gift cards or the actual items would be great!!! If possible, it would be nice for him to have some of the clothes as new as that is not something he is accustomed to.
Also, the caregiver only has girl toys, and is asking for help getting him some toys such as action figures and dinosaurs to play with in the bath tub, and cars, trucks, and even something like a dump truck to bring to the park when they go. They like to spend their time playing outside when it's not raining.
Some gift cards for Walmart for groceries and gas to help offset the impact of some of the other expenses she is incurring caring for an additional child.

***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! THIS REQUEST WOULD BE WELL SUITED FOR A CHURCH SMALL GROUP****
This kinship family has been through and continues to go through A LOT. Currently, their lawn is being taken over by weeds. This family needs lawn care badly, in order to prevent fees from the HOA. Friends have come to help but the need is too great. There are weeds that need to be pulled despite being treated chemically three times. Water needs to be turned on, and grass seed needs to be planted. (There is a teenage boy in the home, but he hurt his knee and ankle and is awaiting surgery, making the job too much for him.) The landlord is refusing to help with assistance.
This family is in need of some financial support. At this time all other options have been exhausted, from emergency aid to social security and this family has received nothing but denials with little to no explanation. The family only has $166.00/month of income, and between rent and bills they only have $40.00 left over at the end of the month. By providing gift cards, hygiene items, even clothing it would greatly benefit this family. The family consists of a single mother who is a victim of DV and three daughters ages 16, 14, and 10.

A two-year-old girl is currently placed with her aunt. Her aunt is a single mom who is now preparing to adopt this kiddo as well. To help alleviate the financial needs of this aunt, this request is to get diapers for the 2 y/o. She is currently wearing size 7 diapers and generally wears pampers. The physical diapers or a gift card to help purchase these would be appreciated!

This is a kinship placement who is in the process of getting certified as foster parents. They have taken in their biological four year old grandson and his brother who is almost two. This family has been amazing and wonderful to the boys. They are working to get everything in order for certification and are needing to purchase some child-safety items to assure their home is appropriately child-proofed. In addition, the 4 y/o is starting to need more clothing as he grows and it gets closer to summer.
An amazon gift card (digital preferred!) is being requested to help the family get whatever items are needed to become a certified foster placement and to get the boys some additional clothing as it gets warmer.

This grandma is now the care taker of her grand children. We placed them with her to late to get into summer camp that accepts CCAP so we are requesting some day passes to some sort of amusement park or something of that nature, or any suggestions you have would be great as well.

I have some grandparents who took in their granddaughter and her younger siblings, they were hoping to get some sports equipment (soccer ball, football, bouncer ball, kickball, jump rope, etc) for the little boy, he tends to break his toys due to being rough with them and is working on his aggressive tendencies. The family is on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace the items at the moment.
