Hello, I am writing on behalf of a family of three that is going to be moving into a new place on April first. Mom is leaving a difficult situation, and will be starting over with nothing for her or her two kids. Mom is in needs of all things for her new apartment, as she will not be brining anything from her previous home. Anything from dishware, to dinning table and chairs, couches, bedding, kids clothes, they could use any support to start themselves over again in this new place.

Family identified through Douglas County Prevention work is facing eviction and homelessness. The family is needing to focus their current income on housing and transportation costs. The 11 year old child in the home is in need of some new clothing, shoes and socks. He is a size 10/12 and needs pants, shirts and socks for children's size 6+. He needs some new shoes as well at least a size 6. The family could also use some food resources, including gift cards for groceries. They will be connected by myself to local food banks and community resources, including our family center as well. Gift cards for clothing so he could pick items out would be greatly appreciated.

We can put together clothes for the young male. I need clarification on size. Is it 10/12. Or 6? I can have those ready Monday afternoon and drop or a social worker could shop for the child

Mom recently took on care of her 3 year old daughter and just gave birth to her baby this month. Her and her boyfriend recently moved into a bigger space and they are struggling to get on their feet and gain some stability. The family went from having 0 kids to 2 kids in a matter of months and they are doing everything they can to provide a safe and stable environment. The family is currently struggling to pay rent and bills and we are hoping to offset some of their struggles with grocery gift cards.

We have a young adult who has recently aged out of the system and is doing most everything independently. There have been many items needed for her new apartment but most important, receiving a vacuum cleaner to maintain her living space. This would be incredibly helpful to relieve some of the stress of acquiring all the items/funding she is having to work through.

This kinship provider is in need of some items to prepare for a smooth placement transition to care for this child. There is another child in the home, so a bunk bed is needed. He is need of a safe sleep space in order for him to transition to this kinship placement. We are seeking a donation of costumes for kids age 6-12yo. Royal Family Kids Camp is scheduled for June of this year and takes 75 children for a week long stay away camp for free. The volunteers of the camp raise money to pull off this epic week. The camp schedule is jam-packed with fun activities all week long. The camp is an incredible experience for these kids. One of the creative stations they can play at is a dress up station. We are needing career day costumes and super hero costumes for the kids to use to dress up. Think doctor scrubs, artist, chef, astronaut, pilot, fire fighter, lab coat, construction vest, etc and also superhero masks/capes. Sometimes amazon has bulk packs of super hero masks/capes to purchase.
Special Instructions:
We are hoping these items can be shipped or delivered to us at our Aurora office.

This family has had to move due to domestic violence, and are continuing to experience hardship due to this. This was a unexpected and costly move so there is no extra funds for anything. They'd really benefit from a queen size mattress to begin getting proper sleep.

The family is in desperate need of a new full-size mattress. After multiple flooding incidents due to faulty piping in their previous apartment, their full-size mattress was ruined which two of their children used. The family was subsequently rushed out of the apartment and while they were able to find a new apartment, they do not have the financial means to purchase a new mattress at this time. The family has five wonderful children between the ages of 2 and 10 and both parents in the home work full-time schedules just to make ends meet and provide for the basic needs of their children. One of the younger children is also in need of a bigger car seat. The family is not one to ask for help, but they have found themselves in a position where help is simply needed.

Hello- I am requesting help to provide some basic necessities for a family of 2, a single mother of a 16 year old female who recently came to Colorado from Peru to escape the violence. They are needing items such as shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products (tampons/pads), and any other personal hygiene products. This little request will substantially help this family as they are trying to establish their residency in Colorado. The 16 year old is very smart, loves math and wants to be an architect when she grows up. Daughter and mom enjoy watching shows together on their phones and taking walks. Gift cards to grocery stores and Target would also be highly effective in helping this family get on their feet. Mom travels by bus, 50+ minutes to her employment. Bus passes or financial assistance to contribute to transportation also helpful.

Client is pregnant with second child and feeling very nauseated. Client has a three year old daughter and husband is working three jobs to sustain family financially. Client recently had an accident and fractured her foot. It is proving hard to care for her daughter and keep up with home duties on crutches. Client inquired and found out her insurance will not cover a scooter. Therefore, client needs to rent one for a few months while she waits to meet with a surgeon at the beginning of May. Client found a place that charges $100 dollars a month to rent.
This will help client care better for her daughter and herself. Client in concerned it will get harder to walk on crutches as her pregnancy advances. Client will get payment information from rental company for donor to pay directly.
