Foster Care case manager is working with a foster family who is needing a twin size bed for their foster child. They have been remodeling their home trying to make more room for future foster children as well. They need a twin size mattress with frame and bedding for their current 6 year old female foster child. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

A sibling group of three (ages 3, 19 months, and 3 months) entered custody. The children are placed with their maternal aunt, and she is in need of a crib for the 19 month old child. She has had to take off work until child care is found, and it will take several weeks to receive a board payment, so she cannot afford to purchase a crib at this time.

Worker is requesting assistance for a local family of 5. The family had a water leak which resulted in an extremely high water bill. This bill impacted their ability to pay their car note, resulting in the car being repossessed. Worker is requesting assistance with obtaining funds to get the family's car back as this is their only means of transportation. The father is the sole provider in the home and the mother utilizes the vehicle to get the children to school and therapy.

Caseworker is working with a family who just started a trial home visit. The mother just got her children back on a trial home visit and has a newborn baby as well. She is in need of a twin bed with mattress, frame and bedding for a boy. A new bed for one of these siblings will be greatly help with their sleeping arrangements so they all have their own bed to sleep in. Any assistance with this is appreciated!

I have a wonderful set of parents who are taking care of their own children, on top of being the caregivers for three more rambunctious and amazing children. This family needs help with groceries. Any help would be incredibly appreciated!

A mother in Lewisburg is losing her housing and housing authority will not renew her application. The mother is needing an iPhone so she can stay in contact with providers that are assisting her with her children as well as finding housing. The phone needs to be unlocked so it's not locked to a certain carrier. She is needing to be able to answer their calls and communicate with them. She is applying for jobs but is needing assistance at this time. This whole situation is overwhelming and any help would be appreciated.

Resource Linkage is working with a single mother of 4 children, ages 11, 5, 3 and 2. The mother just moved into a new house which has exhausted a lot of her funds. She does have a job so she should be able to pay moving forward. After speaking with the landlord, he is giving her until July 7th to pay her rent or he will start the eviction process. The rent is $1,650. The landlord will take a check or a money order. The mother is also needing 5 baby gates and clothes for the children. The 2 boys wear sizes 10/12 and 12/14 and the 2 girls wear sizes, 3T-4T and 2T-3T. She could also use size 2 in boys shoes for a 5 year old boy. Any help with this request is so greatly appreciated. The mother does not have any support around here to help her so she is trying her best to do it on her own. The mother is also needing 4 twin beds with frames and bedding, 2 for toddler girls and 2 for tween boys. The mother is also in need of a washing machine as her just stopped working this past weekend. Any help with any of these items is greatly appreciated!!

A mother is needing help paying her electric bill before 7/9 so it does not get shut off. Mother is a victim of domestic violence, dad is in jail and the one child was removed for bond conditions. The second child is at risk for being removed due to the bond conditions. There are no fees on the bill and this is a one time thing to help mom get back on her feet.

A mother in Lewisburg stays at home with her two children. They are living in income based housing and there is not much space in the home and they are needing a toy box to help store toys in. The family is also in need of a kitchen table so they can eat family dinners at the table and not on the couch. Mother would also like a mop to maintain the floors in the home. She is appreciative any assistance she is needing. She is working on getting her license back while working services with DCS.

Youth was removed from his mother's home due to unsafe conditions. Youth is diagnosed with Autism and placed with father currently. Father was working two jobs to support the child. Father's work hours have been decreased due to having to care for the youth.

Father has been self-sufficient until his hours decreased. Paperwork is in process for father to receive youth's monetary benefits and will solve the current monetary needs.

The mother just received custody of her son again. She is a single mom and is trying to get back on her feet. She recently secured housing and employment but is struggling to make ends meet. She is in desperate need of a bed for her 13-year-old son as well as a washer and dryer.

A mother in Marshall County has three children: A son going into his senior year, two daughters, one going into 5th grade and the other into 3rd grade. The family lost their housing in April and have been living in a hotel. They have a 4 bedroom with the Housing Authority but the apartment is under maintenance and they are not able to move in. The family left several of their belongings behind due to not being able to keep it anywhere and are in need of beds and kitchen supplies to make the apartment a home. They are needing a bunkbed for the girl. One likes pink and purple Hello Kitty and the other likes pink and flowers. The son likes dark blue and red. He has a twin bed but will need a mattress. The mother is needing a full bed and likes dark solid colors. The family is also needing dressers and pots and pans. The family has been very hopeful while working with an agency to find housing and applying for disability. The family is anxious and very eager to move in and make the apartment a home and to have their own bedrooms. The family does not mind used furniture and would be thankful for anything that can be provided to them.
