A mother is working on reunifying with her children. She has just moved into an apartment but has no furniture for them, so as of now, the children cannot return fully to her care until she at least has beds. Mom isn't working yet, so her family is helping her get 1 bed; however, she needs a bed for her daughters (ages 3&4), they can share a bed, so a full-size would be ideal with a low bed frame as they are toddlers and their room has minimal space.

School will be resuming next month, and only her oldest son goes to school, so she is requesting little support in getting uniform clothing for him as well.

Family was kicked out of their home and have been staying in their car. Confirmed they slept in their car last night. Mother stated she has a meeting with the Family care center today but did not give a time. Family needs a hotel or motel to stay in for the child not to come into custody. Mother is trying to find somewhere for them to go. Quality Inn Columbia TN has a room available for $78 per night. Total for 4 nights is around $374. The family is needing a hotel from tonight and check out on Monday, 7/7/25. Any help is appreciated for this family to help prevent a custodial episode. Thank You!

Resource Linkage is working with a single mother of 4 children, ages 11, 5, 3 and 2. The mother just moved into a new house which has exhausted a lot of her funds. She does have a job so she should be able to pay moving forward. After speaking with the landlord, he is giving her until July 7th to pay her rent or he will start the eviction process. The rent is $1,650. The landlord will take a check or a money order. The mother is also needing 5 baby gates and clothes for the children. The 2 boys wear sizes 10/12 and 12/14 and the 2 girls wear sizes, 3T-4T and 2T-3T. She could also use size 2 in boys shoes for a 5 year old boy. Any help with this request is so greatly appreciated. The mother does not have any support around here to help her so she is trying her best to do it on her own.

AGAPE is serving a pregnant teenager is our Foster Care Program. She will deliver the baby in a few weeks and still needs some items to make sure she is prepared and ready for baby. Please see the list attached. Any items that could be purchased or funds to go towards items would be a wonderful blessing for her! Please also be praying for teen mom as she becomes a single young mother and her foster parents during this time of transition.

The family has recently lost a 5-months-old newborn baby boy. The family is limited in the amount of the beds for 4 remaining children. Every child is in need of his/her own bed. The family lacks 1 twin size bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

we have a youth in custody that is a senior at creekwood high school. She is a member of the marching and orchestra band. The school has a $450 band fee that the foster family needs assistant with. She has been a member of the band since 6th grade and wants to finish her senior year in the band.

Single Mother of 1 year old daughter recently located to Davidson County from out of state for a better living. Mother is living in a hotel and working two jobs. Mother is looking for financial assistance to pay for daycare until she can get her daycare voucher re-instated. Mother is trying to obtain baby’s birth certificate from out of state. Mother could also benefit from assistance with grocery assistance.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated during this transition time

I Am Next is a nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care in the Middle TN area. One of our young moms (who was in the system herself) is pregnant with her second child and is due by the end of this month. She is in need of clothes for herself, even though she is about at the end of her pregnancy. She is needing some size medium maternity clothes. I am sure she will use these postpartum as well. Gently used, donated clothes work--does not have to be brand new. I will provide her address to send/deliver to her directly. Thank you so much!

This family is currently experiencing a very difficult time. One of the children accidentally shot himself and remains in critical condition at the hospital. The older siblings were placed with the maternal aunt due to concerns related to lack of supervision, as all of the children were at home when the incident occurred.

At this time, one child qualifies for daycare, but the other two older siblings are at home full-time with the aunt. The caregiver is requesting assistance in enrolling the children in BMCC Summer Camp to provide them with structure, positive engagement, and emotional relief following the traumatic event. This would also offer the caregiver some relief and support as she adjusts to caring for all of the children.

The family does not have the financial resources to cover the weekly camp fees. They are requesting support to help the children attend BMCC Summer Camp as a short-term intervention to promote healing and stability during this crisis.

The camp is open until 08/2025
