Please help a family providing a safe and loving environment for a kiddo in need. This family has generously opened their hearts and their home but due to the unexpected expense of another person at the family dinner table, they could really use assistance with a food donation. Any donation of perishable or nonperishable food items would be most appreciated. Thank you for supporting our most vulnerable children and the families who open their doors.

A 5-year-old girl got accepted into a specialized school and behavioral health program that will greatly benefit her emotional well-being and provide her foster parent with the necessary support to continue parenting her. To attend the program, she must wear sneakers. This foster parent would greatly appreciate assistance with providing a pair in size 11. Additionally, the foster parent will be traveling an extra 50 miles per day to drop her off and pick her up and would appreciate a gas card to assist with the cost of gas.

We have three kiddos in need of summer clothes, as they have grown out of their clothes from last year, and natural mother is taking some time off work with the birth of her new baby this month leading to tight finances. Sizes are boys 5T, boys 4T, and girls 3T. This family is also in need of baby boy or gender neutral clothing of all sizes, as they prepare for his arrival this month. Any help is appreciated!

Please help preserve this kinship placement with 2 out of the 4 children which are placed with their great Aunt. The children are ages 2 & 6 and are having a hard time eating solid foods and was directed by medical professionals to start to blend the children food due to internal health concerns. The family is requesting a blender and help make the children smoothies. The family has also requested help with stimulating the children learning and has asked for any educational help. Things like flash cards, puzzles, books and educational toys. Both children are Autistic, and the family asked for help with sensory toys that can help the children in any way possible and help with gas back and forth to their numerous appointments. The family is also in the process of potty training the 2-year-old and has asked for help with a potty chair and pull ups. This family needs a bus pass to make it to their family visitations to see their 4 daughters weekly. Both mom and dad only transportation currently is by bus and the family is requesting help. The family also is requesting help with a bus pass to maintain their current employment. If you would not mind providing help with 2 bus passes for this family, they will greatly appreciate it. A foster placement with 3 siblings, ages 5, 2, and 1 year, is in need of a baby gate to prevent injuries involving the stairs. Foster mom does not think a normal baby gate will work, due to the set-up of the staircase. She does not currently have any for them, they usually sleep with a blanket covering the mattress.

A young father of two young daughters is working a prevention case with OKDHS. This young father is a hard worker and is needing some community support to help him with his family. The children's mother is not involved and this father is the provider and caretaker for these young ladies. His oldest daughter has a severe chronic medical condition and this father had to miss some work because she was hospitalized. This resulted in the father losing his job. He has been looking for another job ever since, but has not found one yet. This father is in danger of losing his only means of transportation for him and is daughters since he has been out of work. We are asking for help with preventing this dad from losing his vehicle. Any help that could be put toward this need would greatly benefit this family that is struggling to get on their feet. Please help this single mom of 3 children to has been reunified with her children close her case by helping her pay for a hair follicle drug test. This mom has worked so hard to reunify with her children, she has finished all of her services but due to not having reliable transportation and the weather being too hot to ride the bus with 3 young children, she has missed a couple of UA’s recently. By helping her pay for a hair follicle test and prove she is clean of substances, she will achieve case closure. Thank you!

I am working with a mother that has unsupervised family time and begun overnight visits. She is needing assistance in gas as the placement is 2 hours away and would allow more visits outside when the caseworker is able to transport. This would also help the child get to see her mom as the Department works with the mother towards starting trial reunification. Any help is appreciated!

Foster placement which is a kinship placement for one of my minor clients. Is in need of rental assistance for her deposit for her recent move in to house to have space for children in the home. The placement has four children who are in guardianship and one who is a foster placement in the home. The foster mother does work outside the home, but her landlord changed from a $900.00 deposit and now requesting $1800.00. FM reported to CWS worker if she knew of any assistance programs that would help pay this amount.

A young couple has a 1 1/2 year old child that the court allowed to stay in the home under court supervision. The parents are working with several service providers to help correct the situation. The father is working and the mother is seeking employment. Recently, the air conditioner in their trailer went out. They are currently sleeping in the living room with multiple fans but it is not keeping the trailer very cool due to the high summer temperatures. They are in need of two window units so they can place one in the living room and the other near the bedrooms.
