First Progressive Baptist Church

I'm working with a young mom and a 1 1/2 year old child. They are currently residing in a shelter and essentially “starting over”. The child will begin daycare in the next week and mom is in need of a new or gently used stroller. Mom is without transportation so she will be walking to and from daycare twice a day. The daycare is 20 mintues (one way) from her residence. A stroller will be very beneficial as the child is 1 1/2 years old and it will be difficult for mom to carry him to and from daycare. Family of 6 has limited income. Recently their living room unit went out. The family spends more time in the living area/kitchen/dining area than any area of the home. The family is requesting assistance with an AC window unit for the living/kitchen area. This will help improve the wellbeing of the children while in the common areas with the climbing summer heat temperatures.
