First Baptist Church- Fort Gibson, OK

I am hoping to get help for a family. I have a family consisting of a single working mother and 8 kids. They were put out of their home due to a fire. The family has exhausted all supports they have and due to work schedule, shelters have not worked out. The family is currently in need of a place to stay. The family is in need of financial assistance for a hotel stay for 3-7 days. Meeting this need for the family will allow the family a place of stability while continuing to work towards a housing arrangement.

FM request assistance with purchasing a high chair due to lost/stolen cash card and being unable to access funds to meet the needs of her 9-month-old child in OKDHS custody. She has 2 child of her own ages 2yo and a 1yo. She said a second high chair will make feeding time more manageable. She said the least expensive high chair she could find was $70 but if anyone locates one at a lesser value she is grateful to accept. Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

This family consists of a mom and dad, their 17-year-old son, and their 1-year-old daughter. The dad has struggled with addiction and has been in and out of prison and rehab, but is now sober and attending AA. The family is behind on their water bill and their water is currently shut off. They do not have a way to bathe or wash clothes/dishes at the moment, and cannot afford to turn their water back on. The family states that they are behind several payments, which is why the estimated value is higher than an average water bill.

There are two children, an 11-year-old female that is a girly girl and a 9-year-old boy, that are in need of bikes to aide in physical activity and to aide in entertaining them with summer break quickly approaching. The children are not used to physical activity and foster parents are trying to keep them engaged in getting out of the house more. The children enjoy riding bikes and feel this would benefit them greatly.

Please help this kinship foster mom with a rear-facing baby stroller. This is a kinship placement, and she is working hard to keep this child safe. He is currently 6 months. With summertime approaching she would love to take him out on walks and spend some time outside. Anything helps.

Please help a grandmother who is caring for two littles while their parents are working services. The grandmother is on a fixed income and has fallen behind on her utility bill. The grandmother previously made a payment agreement that she was unable to keep. The grandmother is at risk of having her utilities cut off. Thank you.
