I am working with a young aunt (26) with 7 year old twins and she has taken in her two nephews (15 and 17), her niece (16) and the niece's son (2). She is planning to keep them and provide legal guardianship. The family is just getting by, and she struggles to ensure all of the kid's needs are met (but they ARE met). The family recently got into a new home and would love to have a washer and dryer to save the time and money spent going to a laundromat. This would help the family immensely as they frequently have the need for additional food and they get assistance at food pantries and sometimes the Care Portal. I am hoping the CP can come through again to help this family. I know it's a big ask, but the family would be overjoyed with even a used washer and dryer. Their hook ups are electric and the outlet has three holes, for the three-prong plug. Thank you so much for your consideration.
On another note, the 15 year old is in need of clothing. He currently wears an XXL in Mens and requested sweat pants, sweat shorts and t-shirts. He stated his wardrobe is comfortable and pretty boring, as he attends online school and does not go out very much.

An aunt is placement for her 2 nephews, ages 4 and 9, as well as her niece, who is 10 years old. She is requesting toys for the children. The 10-year-old girl likes Barbies, Brats, Horses, and books. The boys lik dinosaur, educational toys, and outside toys.

DCS has been involved since April 2025 due to neglect/abandonment. Child is currently placed in Fort Wayne and DCS is working on getting her placed in Johnson county with potential kinship placement. Kinship has all basic needs met besides bedding to make more room for her arrival. Child is 15, female.

A grandmother is placement for her 3-year-old grandson, and has custody of her 4-year-old grandson, as well. She is requesting pool safety equipment for their outdoor pool. Specifically: a ring or throwing buoy and a pole at least a foot long.

A grandmother is placement for her 6-year-old grandson. She is requesting help with groceries for him and them.

Paternal grandparents became placement of the 3-year-old grandson. They are in need of diapers/pulls for the child.

Paternal grandparents are in need of a full-sized bed (mattress and frame) ensure the child has a comfortable and safe place to sleep.

Maternal grandparents became placement of their 7-month-old granddaughter. They are needing assistance obtaining clothing 6-9months to ensure the child has an adequate amount of clothing.

Mother is the sole and legal caregiver to her three younger children. Mother recently moved to a new residence and cannot afford to purchase and living room furniture. The children have been watching television in the living room and will use a mattress to lay on the floor. Mother reported not being able to afford a couch and she is willing to accept any help to be able to provider her children with a comfortable living room.
