Hello, I have 2 teenage girls that are in need of clothes, shoes and under garments. They were living with their mother, who is verbally and emotionally abusive. Their mother struggles with substance abuse and gave away and sold all their things. The girls have very little items and continue to wash the same clothes. I am asking for gifts cards for both girls $250 a piece so they can get all the items they need.

This request is for someone who has fallen on hard times and is currently pregnant. She is very motivated to work and engage in all of her services but needs reliable transportation. She has a vehicle that has recently broke down due to the O2 sensors needing to be repaired. She has purchased the part and just needs to pay for the labor, which will cost around $70.00. The items needed is to assist in preserving a PCSP caregiver in meeting the needs of her infant granddaughter. A highchair is needed to assist with child's feedings as she is beginning to eat table food. An activity center or walker will assist family with the child's growth and development.

The family recently moved to Dallas, and they are living in a hotel room. The hotel room doesn't have good ventilation and it's causing air Quilty issues. They are a one income household. Mom does keep the room clean. She is currently savings up to move out of the hotel, but this request would help with the temporary placement she has now for her and her daughter.

I have a mother of an 11 month old child who is in need of a walker type toy to help promote walking for him. He is also in need of 12-18 month learning toys as well. Mom and Dad do not live together and neither one of them are working at this time. They do have a support system, but they are helping them with their child's basic necessities like formula/food, diapers, wipes and clothing. They do not have the ability to buy him toys that stimulate his learning.

A young mother (26 years-old) has 6 children and is needing assistance with furniture from their new home. The mother is currently not working as she suffers from severe depression. The four older children's father has been deceased for three years. The two younger children's father is semi-involved. The family is needing two twin bunk beds, twin mattresses, two toddler beds, toddler mattresses, a full or queen size bed and a mattress, a couch, and a dining room table. These items will be able to help assist with the children to have sleep better and be able to be prepared for school due to them having a good night's rest. And not having to sleep on the floor. Also having furniture in the home to give the children an opportunity to have a cozy and comfortable home. As Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory suggests that basic needs must be met before individuals can progress to higher-level needs. The most basic needs for survival, including air, water, food, shelter, sleep, and other biological requirements effects a person's psychological needs.

Mother and 5-year-old are currently homeless and needing assistance with temporary stay in a motel for few days until, she can find an alternate caregiver for her child. She has reached out to area shelters and none of them have spots available and there is long waiting list. She tried with her extended family members and none of them are able to help her at this time. She is requesting financial help with few days stay at Super 8 Motel in Fort Worth which cost $75 per night. She is helped by her brother for tonight.

The mother has put a lot of effort into trying to support her children as a single mother. The mother's children are in foster care, and she has fought to have them back into her custody as quickly as possible. The mother is having difficulties and currently has no one to assist her in getting bunk beds or car seats. To safely transfer her children to and from daycare and school, the mother needs two sets of bunk beds and car seats. The youngsters will be able to maintain their sibling bond if their requirements are addressed.

We are seeking assistance in obtaining a twin-size bed with mattress and sheets/blankets and a crib with mattress and bedding for a devoted father and his 11-month-old daughter. The father, who is a survivor of domestic violence and lives with a traumatic brain injury, is currently sleeping on a small air mattress, while his daughter sleeps in a worn pack-and-play. Due to his injuries, he suffers from significant migraines, and the lack of proper bedding has made restful sleep extremely difficult. His daughter, who is rapidly growing and developing, needs a safe, supportive crib to ensure her well-being and healthy sleep. Providing this family with a proper bed and crib would greatly improve their quality of life, support the father’s recovery, and offer the stability and safety every young child deserves. Any support in meeting this need would be deeply appreciated.

This family is facing an urgent need after a devastating car accident on Easter Sunday. Their two precious children, a 4-year-old boy and a 10-month-old girl, were safely secured in their car seats when their vehicle hit a barrier and was totaled. Miraculously, the children walked away without injuries, a true testament to the life-saving importance of proper car seat use. Tragically, their mother and grandfather were seriously hurt, and both car seats—having absorbed the impact—can no longer be safely used. Now, as the family struggles to rebuild, they must rely on the generosity of friends and family for rides to daycare and critical medical appointments. Without car seats, even these small steps forward aren’t possible. Their spirited 10-month-old, who adores Minnie Mouse, and their brave 4-year-old Spider-Man fan deserve to continue being protected every time they travel. Their parents’ greatest hope is to keep them safe and moving forward. Any support in providing them with safe, high-quality car seats would be a blessing beyond words.
