This family has been working towards providing a safe space for their children. Their daughter currently outgrew her bed and has been having a hard time sleeping through the night. The little girl sleeps with mom so dad has to sleep on the couch. Mom worries through the night to make sure she doesn't hurt her daughter during sleep. The entire family has been affected by the sleeping arrangements and don't have the funds to get a mattress. I am looking for a twin mattress (38 X 75'') for this family.

Young father & alumni of Escape's programs with 3 kids just had his car go down. It's in the shop now, cost will be $1800 but his warranty covers the first $1000. He works at Escape as a Summer Team Leader, and he and his wife both work another job. The Children's Advocacy Center is seeking $1200 in rent and size 1 diapers for a family of 5. Mom and stepdad have three kids ages 4, 2, and 1 month. Mom is waiting for unemployment to start as she is postpartum and didn't qualify for maternity leave. Stepdad waiting to start a job at Meijer. Once they have both incomes, they expect to be able to pay their rent. They are also connected with Community Action House's Food Club, Food Stamps, and WIC. City on a Hill is willing to pay for a portion of the rent once this initial $1200 is paid. I am serving a single mother of two young boys with autism. Her dryer went out unexpectedly and is now resorting to using a laundry mat which has caused a strain on her budget. She is currently in between jobs due to her sons increased medical needs and appointments. She has a dryer hook up and a washer but needs help getting her old dryer replaced. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A single mother from Venezuela, is seeking support for her son he is 16 years old. 2023 he was diagnosed with pre diabetic and he has a lot of eating concerns, after try to change his nutrition habits with the support of the doctor and physiologic support, he didn't see much improvement. In 2025 with the new Dr guidance, recommended to start medical treatment with semaglutide since then, and for the first time on this journey, mother seen real and consistent improvement. A 3 year old boy with epilepsy is placed in Ottawa county. The child experiences short term paralysis following any seizures and he relies on a calming environment to help him become regulated again. His medical providers have recommended a sensory swing for times following seizures. The swing is not something his insurance would cover and the family has requested support in this way.

I have a mom on my caseload with 3 children. She is currently seeking employment and needs her own transportation. She has been sharing a car with the children's bio dad but it has become impossible for her to get a job with the limited time she has access to the car. She was recently given a used car from her dad and has requested help with getting a plate and tags, first month insurance and 2 car seats. Mom has 2 vouchers to get car seats at a local fire station and can get the car seats for $25 a piece. This mom continues to work her hardest to provide for her family, which includes a son who has Autism that has appointments that she also maintains. This mom is working closely with a doctor to find a pain management remedy that will take her off work restrictions and allow her to work full time once again. Her employer is holding her job while she works on this. This mom does a great job managing the stress of being a single mom, and needs a little help with this financial burden while she works on healing herself.
