Hope Church Union Hill

Dear friends and community,

I am reaching out to you in the hope of receiving support for a family in need. A mother, along with her four daughters and her husband, has recently moved into a new apartment. They are in need of some essential furniture to make this space a true home. They need a single bed, preferably a single-sized bunk bed due to space constraints, and a dining table, which could be round or square, so they can enjoy family dinners together.

Currently, this mother is not working because she is dedicated to taking care of their four daughters, the youngest of whom is only four months old. Her husband is the sole breadwinner for the family, and although he does his best, their resources are limited.

Any help you can offer, whether by donating these pieces of furniture or sharing this request with others, would be deeply appreciated. Your generosity will help create a warm and functional home for these girls.

Hello everyone! A case worker reached out to Hope Church directly today and asked for assistance for a family that she serves.

The young mother in this family was recently terminated from her job and is having difficulty obtaining groceries and hygiene products (soap, toilet paper) for her family, as well as paying her water bill.

The water bill totals $600, but the case worker shared that being able to cover even half of the water bill ($300) would be a significant blessing for this family.

Hi Hope Church family,

We are in touch with this family's caseworker and plan to deliver donations/resources to her by Monday! We have almost reached our goal to support the mom in paying her water bill :)
