She is a single mother with eight children. She fell behind on bills due to her car having problems and needing to be fixed. She is behind on her utility bill, and it will be cut off if not paid. She is working to try meet the needs of the children just short this month.

The agency has Permanent custody of two youth who has recently been reunified with their mother after beign in foster care for 6 years. The mother has beat her addiction and has been sober for 2 years. She has obtained a 4 bedroom home for she and her two children and is need of furniture so that the home would feel like a home. Any itmes would help to include beds, dressers, dining room table, dishes, pots pans, decorations for walls, utensils, dining room table, comforters, and micorwave. Her children are excited to return home and to be a family as their mohter is only parent that they have left.

A kinship family is in need of a stove. The family's stove recently went out the caregiver is unable to buy a new one and the current stove is unfixable. Purchasing this stove with enable a child to stay with this family member and maintain their current placement. The family is currently without a way to cook and provide meals outside of a microwave. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. A used stove is fine as long as it is in working condition.

The caregiver has recently taken in her three grandchildren and is in immediate needs of child proof wall outlets for the home. If this need is met it will preserve the placement as the caregiver is on a fixed income and not receiving any other financial assistance.

This kinship family is already made up of seven individuals, including two adults, and 5 children. The family has had some financial barriers and struggles due to this unexpected expense of moving. The family was able to find a home within their budget, however they are currently struggling financially. Due to their immigration status, this family is unable to request government assistance. The family is already utilizing the food pantries in their local area, however could still use assistance with an HEB/Walmart Gift Card for groceries. With this assistance, this will provide some financial relieve until the family is able to adjust. A gift card to HEB or Walmart is being requested at this time, in any amount, that may serve this family.

The maternal aunt has her 4 nieces and nephew placed in her home. She is in need 2 dressers and 1 High Chair.

Veteran age 70 and his wife have three children all with autism ages 7,8,9. CarePortal has assisted family previously. The home they recently purchased with assistance of a non profit program had plumbing issues, flooded and insurance fortunately covered gutting and removing mold. They are in hotel needing to move back in but insurance will no longer help as they are telling family to get legal assistance for the builder to take responsibility and they are not responding according to family. They are in hotel unable to afford any longer wanting to move back home. House now only on cement floor and needs walls repaired and flooring.
