We have a father struggling to gain custody of his daughter from a dangerous situation with the mother who has not been cooperative with the agency to address her abusive behavior. The father has made attempts to have his job allow him to relocate and have his job transfer from another state to Dallas, however that request was not successful, and he has not been able to start in Dallas. He and the child will need to return to their home out of state as soon as possible by May 30th in order for him not to lose his job of 17 years and to prevent the removal of his daughter from going to foster care. He has proven to be a caring and protective parent and will be able to continue to care for his daughter. We are requesting assistance with bus ticket for the father and daughter to relieve other financial stresses he has had to endure while continuing to ensure that he can keep a safe and stable home for the child. We believe the safest option at this time for child is to allow the child to return with the father out of state where he will be able to fully meet all of her needs.
