Single mom, with a 14 month old child needs assistance with moving. She hopes to move into a bigger apartment so that her young son has more room to play and explore. She currently lives in a one bedroom apartment. Her rent at her current apartment is also going up, which she cannot afford. The apartment she hopes to move into will be income based. This mom, does not have any help with moving and does not have the financial means to pay for services.

A teenage boy connected to our program is hoping to attend Pine Haven Christian Assembly’s youth camp this summer — and we’re looking for someone to help make that possible. His mom, who is part of our reentry program, was recently reunified with him after a long separation. This new season has been full of hope and healing. She is encouraging him to attend camp to build friendships, grow socially, and most importantly, learn more about Christ in a safe and uplifting environment. Camp costs are currently out of reach for this family, but we believe this experience could be both life-giving and life-changing for this young man. Case Manager supports this family at Olmsted County due to the youngest child in the home being diagnosed with autism as well as a rare diagnosis of Neurocutaneous Melanosis which causes moles to grow all over his body that have a high probability of developing into melanoma. Mom is currently the main caretaker of both children in the home and due to the youngest's needs, she is not able to hold a job outside the home. This has caused difficulty in taking care of bills. Due to a recent shift in services as well as an increase in rent, the family is looking at getting an eviction notice for late rent. Family has explored all resources but unfortunately there is no funding until August but July rent will be challenging to pay. They currently owe 693.44 for July rent. Any help is appreciated. The rental company is called River Glen.

Young couple that just had a baby on June 8th. They currently are sharing a full-sized bed with the baby. They know about safe sleep practices and have a bassinet for the baby, but he often ends up in the bed with them. The couple have expressed that the bed is not big enough for the two of them. Right now, they do not have the finances to buy a bed.

We’re looking for someone to help us meet a special and simple need: a 50-inch smart television for the home where the women in our reentry program live.

After long days filled with treatment sessions, work, parenting responsibilities, and the emotional labor of rebuilding their lives, our ladies need a place to rest. A television may seem small, but it can offer a meaningful moment of calm—a way to decompress, laugh, connect with one another, and experience a bit of normalcy in an otherwise intense season of life.

Rest is not a luxury—it’s a necessary part of healing. Creating a comfortable space to relax helps our women reduce stress, recharge, and remain focused on the hard work of restoration, including rebuilding relationships with their children.

This request if for a family of a single dad with 3 children. Dad often cannot afford larger house repairs and recently one of their bedroom windows broke and they will not be able to get this fixed this on their own. Dad would need help with the purchase and installation of a new window.

Soon to be 18 year old male will be moving out and residing with a different individual to complete high school. Client is going to need a tall/vertical dresser and a twin sized mattress with bedding. Client will be needing these items prior to his move out date which is July 18th.

Good afternoon - I am working with a single dad who has limited income, and he is caring for his 3 daughters, ages 10, 11, and 12. His wife and the mother of the children passed away a few years ago. The family is in need of two double beds. Thanks much for any help that you can provide.

Two older teenage youth are in need of bikes - they are very new to this community and are in need of bikes to help them gain more independence, help seek out resources, explore the community, and meet healthy peers as they are very isolated currently. The male would also be interested in clothing if available (adult medium size) as he currently does not have many items of clothing.

I am working with a caregiver who is taking responsibility for 2 children while their father is in prison and the mother is unable to care for them. She needs a bike and a bike trailer to get girls to daycare so she can work.

I am working with a single mother of five. This family came to our agency to correct issues of neglect. This mom has been struggling with finances for an extended period. My client recently lost her employment, and I would like to provide her with resources to support her family. Family wants support with removing junk from their home. They have run some estimates for junk removal with the lowest priced company, which is an estimate of $700 to remove the desired items from the home. This assistance will help the family maintain the safety and wellbeing of the children.

Single parent with two daughters. One daughter has had mental health issues. Mom took off work to focus on daughter got behind in rent and was evicted. Grandmother also came from out of state to help the family in previous home, when she arrived she brought bed bugs with. Once evicted they moved very minimal items into the new apartment due to the bed bugs. Currently the two daughters are sleeping on air mattresses and mom has queen mattress on the floor. Mom would like a frame with box spring or frame that does not need a box spring for her current mattress. Girls each need a twin bed with frames. The family is also in need of sitting/living room furniture like a couch and/or a few sitting chairs.
