Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
Mom is currently living with three kids in the home, and two kids have been placed in foster care. Dad was the main provider and has been incarcerated for the past several months. Dad will not be released anytime soon. Mom is receiving SNAP benefits and is getting financial assistance from family for mainly mortgage, utilities, food, and other items. Mom has been looking for employment for the past few months but has been unsuccessful. Mom went to two different organizations that provide clothing. However, the organizations did not have anything clothing/socks for the 14- and 10-year-old boys. I am requesting a $130 gift card to assist the boys in buying summer clothes and socks. The past several months, the family has been going through many difficult challenges, both emotionally and financially. Receiving this gift card will assist the boys in focusing on something exciting and feeling better about themselves, given their current difficult family situation.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A single mother currently experiencing homelessness is in urgent need of support to cover a past-due U-Haul storage unit payment. She is temporarily staying at the Virginia Williams Family Resource Center with her young son. The storage unit holds the remaining personal belongings for both of them—items that represent stability and the hope of rebuilding. Unfortunately, the account is past due and at immediate risk of being auctioned, which would result in the permanent loss of their belongings. Your support will help preserve what little they have left and ease the burden during this challenging time as they work toward securing stable housing.

Help Support a Youth Aging Out
A 21-year-old young man is in urgent need of support after experiencing a heartbreaking theft—everything he owned was stolen. Right now, he simply needs clothing to get back on his feet.
He wears a size Medium in shirts and pants and a Men’s size 8 shoe.
Your generosity and prayers can make a powerful difference in helping him regain a sense of stability and dignity during this difficult time. Thank you for considering how you might help meet this immediate need.

This request is for a family that has moved into stable housing but needs a few things to help.
- A dresser for clothes to keep house tidy and their son does not have a dresser to keep his clothes.
- A lawnmower/weedeater. Their grass is growing and they have no way of cutting it and can't afford the fines that come with an unkept law.
- They currently have no working car because the axil broke. They have managed to find all the necessary parts except for the nuckle. This is the item that is needed: Go To Link
Thank you for your prayers for this family for a for considering giving to them.

A young woman participating in our programs is a parenting teen (and is a fantastic mom!) We were recently given bikes to donate to our participants, and this young woman was SO excited to receive a bike, and mentioned how fantastic it would be to have a rear-mounted toddler seat (and helmet for a 27lb almost 3 year old!) to be able to use her bike with her daughter. (She currently walks to and from daycare pick-up, etc. and with a toddler seat would be able to bike with her little girl).

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
A 16-year-old boy who is deaf and with physical disability, loves riding a bicycle when he was back home. Came to the State 4 years ago and have not enough resources to be able to get a bicycle that would help him to enjoy and practice a physical activity which may contribute to move his muscles to strengthens them ensuring his ability to balance when moving around. Currently, his mom works a par time job to be able supervise and provide for him. She doesn't have not enough income to buy these items for the youth. Getting the bicycle will provide not only things to do or enjoy his day-to-day activities but also provide a possible socialization and making friends he doesn’t have now. Additionally, he will improve his range of motion on his legs and motor coordination, which will contribute to strengthening his muscles for support and balance, preventing from a fall risk. A laptop or an iPod as assistive technology, may be used for communication through not only the use of Figueres and pictures but also to use as alerting device such as a vibrating or flashing alarm, as he has difficulties to wake up in the morning to get ready for school.
