A family that is undergoing hardship and searching for an appropriate living situation, is in need of a playpen. A pack n play or something similar for young toddler would help this family in a very difficult time.

The Columbia County Family Resource Council is seeking quality school supplies to provide to students at Fort White High School's Back-to-School event. Agencies from the council will be at the event to connect families with the resources they provide, and to distribute free school supplies so that students in this rural area can be more prepared to start their school year. In 2024, 58%of Fort White High School's population was listed as experiencing economic disadvantages, and 54% received free lunches as a result. The availability of free supplies is intended to help provide Fort White students with quality materials and tools necessary for academic success in the upcoming school year.

We’re inviting our community to come together to support children and teens as they head into a new school year—and help give them opportunities that last well beyond the first day of class. 🙌

We’re hosting a Back-to-School Fun Day and Fundraiser to help a few of our in-need youth participate in positive after-school and weekend activities during the 2025–2026 school year. These programs help our kids build confidence, friendships, and purpose. This event is one way we show them they’re valued and supported.

We’re hoping for help covering a few basic needs to make this day possible: $100 for decorations to set the atmosphere $100 for food to feed our kids and families $100 for a DJ to bring energy and fun That’s a total of $300 to help our youth feel celebrated, supported, and encouraged before returning to school. Your support would mean the world to them—and to us. She is a mother of three young children - full of energy, full of life, and deeply loved. After finding the courage to leave a dangerous situation, this brave mom made the difficult decision to seek safety at a domestic violence shelter. While she is now in a more stable environment, the journey to healing and rebuilding is just beginning. Each day brings new challenges as she navigates doctor appointments and daily responsibilities while managing three little ones on her own. One of her greatest fears is not being able to keep her children close and safe if she ever finds herself in danger again. We are reaching out through the Care Portal to our local churches, community champions, and compassionate community members to ask for help. What would make a real difference right now is something simple, yet powerful - a double stroller. This would allow her to move more safely and efficiently, keeping her children close in busy areas and offering peace of mind if she needs to act quickly. This mom is not asking for much - just a bit of support to help her keep her family safe. If you or someone you know is able to provide a double stroller, new or gently used, you are not only meeting a practical need. You are helping to restore a sense of safety and control during a very difficult chapter of her life. We have a youth that is in care that is in need of clothing items that fit her. She has recently gone through a growth spurt and although she has a few outfits, the majority of her clothing no longer fits. She is in need of shirts, pants/shorts, and undergarments. This request will help support the youth in helping increase her self-image when she moves to a new foster home.
