Single Mom with one daughter age 11 needing rent assistance to avoid eviction. Was renting with others and they moved out unexpectedly, causing her to be unable to pay the remainder of the rent.

Lincoln Elementary is seeking community support to provide a water slide on June 9th and 10th. This fun reward will celebrate our students’ hard work during SBAC testing. After being separated in foster care, two sisters are reunited and working to strengthen their bond. The youngest has joined our discipleship program, seeking growth in faith. She arrived with only the clothes on her back and is currently sleeping bedless, in addition to needing clothing and cleaning supplies. Your support will help create a stable, nurturing home and aid in their journey. The youngest says this experience would humble her. Please prayerfully consider helping this family in need.

However, her children are currently sleeping on the floor, and she urgently needs beds and basic supplies to create a safe, comfortable space for them. We are reaching out to churches and the community for help—whether it's providing beds, supplies, or mentorship to guide Her as she navigates this new chapter. A mother and her three children have recently transitioned from a shelter into a new home and are in need of essential household and personal care items. They could greatly use support with cleaning supplies, dish soap, laundry detergent, and hygiene products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Additionally, the family is in need of bath towels and dish towels. Any assistance you can provide would mean so much to them as they begin this new chapter. One of our 6th grade male students recently had his bike, which was his main means of transportation to and from school, stolen from the school grounds. This bike was a special Christmas gift, and it helped him get to school every day. His family is currently facing challenges and is unable to replace it at this time. We’re reaching out to see if anyone in the community might be able to help. Your kindness and generosity can make a big difference in ensuring he can continue to get to school safely and comfortably.

So in need of groceries at this very moment since the fridge is completely empty, a Mom of two kids are starving and come home from school with empty tummies. a weeks worth of groceries for her 4 family members will help her get through the week before getting her food stamps.

We are reaching out on behalf of a devoted family in need of support. This hardworking mother and father are doing everything they can to raise their three young children with love and stability, but they're living paycheck to paycheck and are facing a challenge they cannot overcome alone. Currently, their 3-year-old child—who has speech delays and needs a safe, consistent sleep environment—is co-sleeping with the parents. This situation is not only unsafe but is also causing stress and exhaustion for the entire family. They live in a small two-bedroom home, and while they are making the best use of their space, the lack of a proper bed for their toddler is affecting everyone’s well-being. The mother works full-time to provide for the family, while the father stays home to care for their youngest. They are not receiving any public financial assistance and are stretched to their limit. A toddler bed may seem like a small thing, but to this family, it represents safety, dignity, and hope. We humbly ask for your help to provide a toddler bed for this child. Your generosity could be the turning point for a family that is fighting every day to stay together, stay strong, and offer their children a better future.

Through Safe Families a host family will be supporting a family for the next six months while a parent takes time to enter a program. This parent is taking the needed steps to get healthy so the family can be stronger together. The host family will be caring for 4 children during this time. The family is recognizing the amount of essentials that they are going through with 4 extra children. Any support with these items would be appreciated by the family.

Below is a list of essentials. There are now 10 people in the home so things are going quick!

• Paper towels, paper plates/bowls, napkins, toilet paper.
• Prepackaged snacks: kids like: peanut butter filled pretzels, acai bowls from Costco, sour cream ruffles, cheddar ruffles, limon lays, any type of berry.
• Gift card for clothing

We are requesting support for a mother and her three children who have recently moved from a shelter into a new home and are in urgent need of basic furnishings. The family currently has very limited household items, and the mother has specifically requested a small dining table so they can sit together for meals, as well as several lamps, as there is no lighting in their new space. Providing these essential items will significantly improve their living conditions and help create a stable, comfortable environment as they begin rebuilding their lives.

A kindship care placement has been supported by Safe Families for the last 3 years. This guardian has supported and created stability for 4 children due to this placement. The family has been resilient through ups and downs and have begun to thrive. 3 of the children are still in car seat boosters but all three have either broken or the children have grown out of them. The family is requesting 3 new car seat/booster with a back to ensure the safety of all 3 children while driving.

EVERY CHILD DESERVES A BED TO SLEEP IN, A TABLE TO GATHER AROUND, AND A COUCH TO RELAX ON. TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE THIS A REALITY. A single mother of nine children is facing unimaginable challenges and is desperately in need of support. Despite limited resources, she works tirelessly to provide for her children, yet the situation has become overwhelming. Right now, all of her children are sleeping on the floor due to a lack of beds, and they have no place to relax as a family. The children have resorted to selling candy outside stores and restaurants just to help meet their basic needs—a heartbreaking reality for young kids who should be focusing on their studies and playing.

This family is doing everything they can to survive, but they need help. Providing beds, a dining table, and a couch would bring a sense of comfort and stability back into their lives. These basic items would give them a chance to rest, eat together, and feel safe—something every child deserves.
