Single pregnant mother, due 9-14-25 in need of a couch, dresser, 2 nightstands and a tv stand. All can be used/donated and any part of request is greatly appreciated. Mother has been homeless and living in a shelter. She contacted a life coach to assist with employment and housing and has worked very hard to obtain employment as a home health Aid and has just recently obtained housing for herself and her unborn child. Mother is struggling to afford the move, deposit, housewares and baby supplies and is in need of assistance with furniture. She has applied for a St. Vincent DePaul furniture voucher and is waiting for a response. Mother will continue to work as long as she can and once she gives birth and is released to work, she will return to her home health employer. Any help is so appreciated for this struggling mother to be.

I have been working with a single mother who's car was recently stolen, causing her to fall behind on her payments in childcare. She has two young girls enrolled in childcare and is behind $298. She could use assistance in paying off what she owes to help her return to normalcy after such an impactful and traumatic experience having her vehicle stolen from her.

A single mother had her children removed from the home by JFS and she is successfully completing her case plan and has obtained housing so she can start over with the hopes of getting her children returned to her. She has transitioned to supervised in-home visits and will be transitioning to in-home unsupervised visits as soon as she can obtain adequate furniture. Any help is appreciated and is detrimental in getting JFS to approve her new apartment

We need assistance to support a family that we serve at JusticeWorks. This is a single mom of a child that had her child removed from the home by JFS and has completed her safety plan and has now allowed to have her child return to visit in the home under supervision and soon to be unsupervised. We are looking for a dresser and decorative items for a 2 year old

We are working with a lady that obtain her twin nieces from JFS in order to prevent them from going into the foster care system. She is young (in her early 20's) and not married. She is trying to manage these twins on her own and doing an amazing job. She is actually in the process of taking foster care classes in order to receive compensation to help her with the twins. The twins have been placed with her since they were new borns for the past several months and as they grow she is in desperate need of additional items. Some of these items are a necessity in order to be approved as a foster parent. She does work and has to pay for child care which limits her funds.

A mom and her son, returned home from Bible School to find their apartment unlivable due to a tragic fire in their apartment building. The windows had burst out from the flames/heat, and everything is now boarded up. They lost their home in an instant. The Red Cross has stepped in with three nights at an Airbnb downtown and a temporary food assistance card, but that’s all they have—just the clothes they wore to VBS.

Any needs that can be met would be appreciated: • Kroger gift cards (ideally) or non-perishable food • Plus-size women’s clothing • Clothing for a 5-year-old boy-he wears size 6 or 7. • Metro bus passes

This family consists of mother and three children ages 3, 2, and 6 months. The children are currently placed in a foster home and Mother is working towards reunification. The family was homeless at the time the children entered foster care, but with determination Mother has obtained a three bedroom apartment. The family lost all of their belongings and are starting fresh. Mother is currently in the apartment without basic supplies for everyday living. We are asking for assistance with pots/pans/cooking utensils, kitchenware, towels, paper products, cleaning products, etc. Anything is appreciated to aide this mother to have normalcy in her new home.

Close your eyes and envision a young, single dad as first-time parent in a 900 ft sq apartment. The living room is taken up by a big couch that doesn’t give his son, who will be returning home enough room to have space to play. You look to the left and see a kitchen that is small, clean and empty for a space for a small table and two chairs. Then you hear the dad say, “this was all I could get”.

As a nurture, I’ve grown familiar with the quiet strength it takes to keep a household running- especially during difficult times. Every day brings its own challenges, but also small victories; a meal on the table, a safe place to sleep, and the warmth of love within the home.

This letter is written with humility and hope. I am seeking support in obtaining a small couch and table with chairs to improve the functionality and comfort of the father’s home. These items would not only provide relief but also help create a more stable environment for the father and his son.

There is a family who recently opened their doors to 3 kiddos in need of a home. They are in need of beds so that they have a comfortable place to sleep. They would love if someone would be kind enough to provide them with either 3 twin beds or a bunk bed and 1 twin bed. Bedding will also be needed for these children. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Please help a kinship family consisting of a grandmother and her great-grandson! The grandmother, who is starting over raising her great-grandson, who is currently four years old. They need school clothing size 5/6T( gently used clothing), Amazon incontinence underwear, and PediaSure milk 24 pack( Vanilla or Strawberry).

Her grandson has an autism diagnosis and experiences sensory issues with bladder sensations, as well as heightened sensitivity to tastes and textures. He currently wears pull-up diapers, but he is discouraged about potty training because he refuses to use them. The grandmother wants to encourage his independence by purchasing washable incontinence underwear, which would also help prevent any potential bullying at school. She is worried that when he starts school in August, he may be teased by other children. Unfortunately, due to her fixed income, she cannot afford this expense out of pocket.

Additionally, she needs PediaSure milk, which is no longer covered by WIC since her grandson has aged out of the program. He will not drink regular milk or any other substitutes because of his sensory sensitivities.

A donation would significantly help this family, as the grandmother struggles to buy these essential items on her limited income. Thank you for considering helping them!

After recently moving into a new residence, she received an emergency placement of her three-year-old granddaughter and had to allocate funds to provide essential items to ensure the child's safety, comfort, and well-being. As a result, she is now facing a $200 shortfall for her upcoming rent payment. Despite her efforts to maintain a stable home environment and fulfill the child's needs, the unexpected financial burden has left her unable to pay her full rent by June 1st. Given that this will be her first complete month in the residence, she is afraid to disrupt the relationship with her new landlord. Any financial assistance available to help her maintain stability for the child during this transition would be greatly appreciated.
