Mother needs financial assistance to get into sober living. She tragically lost her 2 older children due to a murder-suicide involving their biological father. She has been in active additional for the past 7 years and is looking to change to help herself and her 2 year old daughter. She had completed inpatient treatment and is currently sober and needing help going somewhere safe to continue building her life back for her and her daughter.

This family is in need of two sets of bunk bed frames. There are 5 children in the home and a 6th on the way. They live in a two-bedroom home with multiple children sleeping on the couch and floors due to not having enough beds. The family is working with Children's Division to better their situation and stay together.

This bio mom has worked very hard to reunify with her 5 children and she is nearing permissive placement!! She needs some household items as she nears having her children come home and having her baby in July. Be a part of a reunification and an investment into these boys' futures! :)

I have two children on my caseload that are sharing a room with a bunkbed. They are twins and are in the process of being adopted by their older sister. She is finally able to move the boys to a bigger home where they can have their own rooms but needs assistance to get one of the boys a bed for his room. Meeting this need would alleviate stress from their sister as she continues to try and give her brothers a better life.

Single dad of 4 just moved into a new house. He used most of his money to get the home so he could bring his kids home instead of having them split up into different foster homes. He needs help furnishing his house. He needs a dresser for each kid and himself.

Single mom trying to set up a home to keep her child out of foster care. Needs a dresser and a portable or window air conditioner.

This request is for a mother to get bus passes. She is really struggling with transportation and getting to her visits with her son. Bus passes would allow her to be more consistent with visits and strengthen the bond with her son. Bus passes would also allow her to gain employment so that she can financially provide for her child.

A kinship placement with five older youth (three children in care and two other children) in the home is in need of grocery assistance. The Placement Provider has had difficulty financially keeping up with groceries for the youth in her home. Easy meals for the kiddos to make or a Walmart gift card would be appreciated!

We have a kinship placement that is in need of a five point harness car seat. Grandpa and Grandma are fostering their toddler grandchild while raising several other grandchildren under a guardianship. The toddler is in daycare and needs a car seat in order to get back and forth to daycare safely.

Placement lives in Clever but car seat can be delivered to the MBCH office or the home.

There are 2 children in this home, a 7-year-old girl, and a 10-year-old boy. The children have been permissively placed with their father for the last 6 months, and they have been in care for the last 18 months. The father has done everything asked of him and more. He is extremely proactive and resourceful when it comes to getting his kids what they need, but becoming disabled has put a huge financial strain on the family. The father owns the home, but it is in extremely poor condition. The father has applied for assistance through OACAC, Springfield Help, and Habitat for Humanity, but he won't be able to get help from any of them for at least another year. The father could get custody of his children back if it weren't for the conditions of the home. The home needs new flooring, damage to the walls fixed, the bathroom/plumbing fixed, and it needs to be weatherized. Anything anyone can help him with would be greatly appreciated.

An older youth I work with is graduating next Sunday. He doesn’t have many supports in his life and will be transitioning into an apartment program this summer. I’d love to be able to give him a graduation gift to help him during this next chapter. If possible, I’m hoping to collect a few gift cards to support him as he takes this important step forward.

This request is for an adult bicycle. A mother of two little girls does not have transportation. Having a bicycle would greatly help her to get to her job, visits with her children, therapy, etc.
