Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
A middle school aged youth is living in a two bedroom kinship home with multiple kids in the family. The family has been saving to purchase beds for these new additions to their home. They recently purchased a triple bunk bed and are now saving for a twin bed for the oldest youth who is sleeping on the floor on a pile of blankets. This family is open to receiving a gently used compact twin bed and mattress. Thank you so much for considering blessing this youth with a bed to lay her head.

Help Support a Youth Aging Out
We have 6 students graduating from high school and transitioning out of foster care! We are partnering with DCYF's Extended Foster Care program to help ease this transition with needed housewarming items for these soon-to-be young adults. They need basic items like kitchen tools, dishes and utensils; bedding and linens and other household items. Because this is intended to meet their needs and celebrate their academic achievement we prefer for these gifts to be new or furniture that is gently used. The storage bins will be used for moving and can also be gently used as well.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
A family of five—two parents and three children—has just transitioned out of a local shelter and into their very first apartment. This is a huge milestone for them, and they are eager to create a safe, stable home.
The father has been facing significant challenges that have limited his ability to work, but he is now on the mend and recently began earning some income again. The mother is actively seeking employment. With limited resources, they are starting over from scratch.
Fusion was able to provide mattresses, but they are still in need of essential items to make their apartment livable: bedding, a couch, dining table and chairs, pots and pans, bath towels, and other basic household necessities.
How Meeting This Need Will Help: Meeting this need will help the family establish a sense of dignity, normalcy, and comfort. It will turn their apartment into a home—a place of rest, family meals, and new beginnings. Your support can help stabilize their transition and give them the solid foundation they need to move forward with hope.

Help Support a Youth Aging Out
This young person is in extended foster care. She is 22 years old and will be turning 23 on May 29th. She currently lives on her own and has an FYI (Foster Youth to Independence) voucher, though she is experiencing some issues with it. At the moment, she is unemployed.
She is the only person involved in this request-no children. This young woman needs cleaning supplies (no preference), tp, laundry and dish soap (no specific brand recommendations). She needs warm clothing in size M. She shops at Ross, TJ Maxx, Winco, Safeway, QFC and Fred Meyer. She is in need of Tampax Pearl Tampons and pads in size 1.
