Mother and Father are residing in the home with their four children and the conditions of the home are poor due to poverty. The home was assessed, and Mother was advised that she needed to clear space for the children in the home to prevent hazards and is in need at this time of a dresser to safely store clothing items away from the floor of the bedroom where the family sleeps.

Two children by the ages of (5 month old baby girl and 8 year old boy) reside in the home with their mother. Mother has no family support and has relocated here from another city. 8 year old child is sleeping on the couch and is borrowing a neighbors blow up bed and baby girl is sleeping in her bassinet. Both children would benefit from their own sleeping arrangements. Baby girl is growing fast and will soon be to big for her bassinet and the little boy has his own room, and just needs his own bed. Mother is seeking employment but has limited help caring for her children while it is summer break. Mother is extremely grateful for any help that she can receive for her children and mother is also extremely compliant with the Department regarding services and allowing the Department full access to her children and home.

Mom has 3 children. Her teen daughter has an infant daughter who is in need of a pack n play to promote safe sleep. Currently the infant is sleeping in the same bed as the teen mother. The family is limited on funds and has expressed they are in need of sleeping arrangements for the baby. The family is trying to get things in order so the young mother and child can sleep safe and comfortably.

A pregnant mom with a 6 month old son had to leave a domestic abuse situation and unable to secure her belongings and those of her son without incident. This 28 year old woman has secured an apartment and a job but is requesting assistance for her son and herself. This mom is looking for clothing 12-18 months for her son, a carpet/rug for him to play on, and possible toys for his age. Maternity clothes and a queen-size bed frame would also be helpful as a mattress has been promised by friends.

This sweet mama has been faithfully walking with us in the parenting program, doing her best to care for her two precious little ones—a lively 4-year-old boy and a curious 2-year-old girl. Recently, her little girl figured out how to climb out of her crib, and as you can imagine, that has brought some big safety concerns for mom. She’s been feeling anxious and wants to make sure her daughter has a safer, more secure sleep setup. Right now, she’s hoping for help in securing a twin bed for her toddler—something that gives her peace of mind and helps her little one rest safely. HiAgain is providing the twin bed for this toddler, and all that needs to be done is delivery. This little family just moved in to a new apartment as well and could use the the encouragement of the local church to feel welcome in her new community.

This is a single mother who is in school full time trying to obtain an education to better support her children in the future. She is a single mother of three children 1 (female), 5 (male), and 7 (male) who has left the children's father after he continually was arrested for drug charges that were escalating in seriousness, domestic violence, and father's chronic unemployment. Mother is in need of a bunk bed for her boys as they are in a tiny studio and they are sharing a bed. Both boys have ADHD and are hyper, so having separate beds will make bedtime less stressful for mother and the children as the boys fight often being right next to each other.

Grandfather is raising 4 of his grandchildren. Although he is employed, and the children benefit from some benefits the family struggles financially. Mothers are partially involved and visit children but do not provide any financial assistance.

The children are needing 2 sets of bunk bed frames, 4 twin mattresses, and 4 sheet sets.

The children include: 2 girls ages 7 and 9 / 2 boys ages 4 and 6.

The family reported the home is a fixer upper and at this time has not allowed the Department access into the home. The family also reported children sleep on air mattresses. The children will benefit from beds to sleep on and to help adjust to their new home.

This mother has left a domestic violence situation and only has air mattresses for her and her daughter (11 years old). Providing this mother and her daughter with beds will help support her efforts to keep her daughter safe and remain on her own away from the danger.

A newly expectant mom was in a car accident this week and her 8 month old baby was also in the vehicle. Because the car seat was involved in the accident it is no longer safe to be used. Finances are tight for the family and cannot afford a new car seat. The provision of a new infant/convertible car seat would greatly appreciated.

Two parent household have two male boys ages ranging 1 month to 13 months old are in need of strollers for the children. Father is recently employed, and mother was employed prior to giving birth. The Department has custody of one child in which he has unsupervised weekend visits with his parents. The other sibling lives full time with the parents. The strollers are needed as the family only has one income at this time.
