These 5 teenage boys were removed from their mother's care due to domestic violence and substance use. The mother has come a long way and has not been in contact with the perpetrator and has prioritized the return of her children. The mother had already obtained housing and paid the deposits previously in another county a little over a month ago; however, someone broke into the home and construction items to improve the home were stollen and the landlord didn't wish to assist the family, so the mother found new housing but now is in need of assistance to pay the deposit for electricity and water and sewage.

The court and Department are ready for the children to start having weekend visits with their mother, however, are unable to until these utilities have been set up for the home and the mother is asking for assistance due to also receiving a cut in her hours at work.

Two parents have an open investigation and previous CPS cases where their other children have been removed. The parents have a newborn son and there are no current dangers to the baby to necessitate a removal at this time. The parents are requesting a stroller for the infant to help them transport him to medical appointments, WIC office, and other activities. They are requesting a stroller that would work for a newborn since he is not able to sit up or support his head at this time.

The child (8 year old male) and his siblings have been reunified back with their mother in her home. The mother has done a great job meeting the needs of all the children as well as making sure she remains compliant with the Department. was involved in football while in foster care and is eager to get back into the sport. I, the caseworker, have found an organization that is having a football league start soon and the fee is 200 dollars. The first fee of 40 dollars has been taken care of so 160 dollars is lacking. We are asking for assistance to get this fee completed so can continue playing sports as any normal 8 year old should if he desires. Thank you!

The family lives in a two bedroom home with three children (ages 1yo, 6yo, and 11yo) and two parents who are primarily Spanish speaking. Due to the increasing summer heat, there is concern that the window A/C unit the family is currently using is not working correctly and will place the children at risk of overheating. The family is in need of a 12,000 BTU window unit to cool their living room/dining/kitchen area. Currently Walmart has a Zimtown brand one on sale for $319 The family is cooperating with the Department.

I am working with a family of 3 children, siblings: 8 (female), 15(male), 7 (female) and their mother. The family was recently displaced. The children and parent are currently all sharing a couch to sleep on at a relatives home. The family is seeking bunk beds so the younger children may have their own area to sleep instead of on the couch.

This sweet Spanish-speaking family has been part of our parenting program for a while now, and we’ve seen just how deeply they love and care for each other. Dad works hard to support the home while mom lovingly tends to their three children—a 13-year-old son, a spunky 4-year-old daughter, and their youngest, who’s about to turn 3. With just one income, they stretch every dollar, doing their best to meet their needs. Now, it’s time for their little one to make that big step into a toddler bed. They’re hoping to find a toddler bed, mattress, and cozy bedding set to give her a safe and secure place to sleep as she grows. Mom could also use the encouragement and friendship of a local church community to walk beside her family during this new season. Would you consider being part of that support?
