Help Strengthen a Bio Family
The mother and child are residing with the maternal aunt and in need of a stroller, clothes for a 6-9 month old baby boy. The mother is in full compliance with her CWS services.
Updated on April 29, 2025 by an Agency Worker
A stroller would help the family with daily routines and services which are out of town in the city of Visalia. The mother is limited on her resources to be able to access these items as she is actively engaged in her court ordered case plan.

Help Improve a Child's School Attendance
Good afternoon, Calwa Elementary school is seeing an influx in students with lice causing many of them to miss multiple days of school. We support our students with a one-time voucher (limited amount provided by the district), but that only allows for 1 quick treatment, and they need several treatments for them to completely go away. Many of our families do not have the financial means to purchase these expensive kits for additional treatments. Our nurse has found that nit combs work best. We would like to have these nit combs handy for our parents to have if they are faced with this dilemma. Thank you in advance for your support!

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
One of our own Robinson School families—a hardworking, deeply involved family of four—is facing an unexpected hardship and urgently needs our help.
The father recently lost his job when his company restructured and laid off all employees. While there is hope he’ll be rehired in June, the sudden loss of income has left the family struggling to cover the most basic needs: food and electricity. They’re doing everything they can to stay afloat, but right now, the strain is affecting their children’s wellbeing. They’re $300 behind on their PG&E bill, and they are asking for about $200 for groceries to get through the next few weeks until their food assistance kicks in. This is a kind, resilient family who has always shown up for our school community—and now it’s our turn to show up for them. Every dollar helps, and any support you can give will go directly toward food and keeping their lights and heat on.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
Aspiranet REACH services are available at no cost to adoptive families residing in Fresno County who have adopted through the Fresno County Department of Social Services. While all families experience triumphs and challenges as they grow and change, adoptive families tend to encounter unique challenges. The REACH program is designed to preserve adoptive families and placements through the following services: Education, referral, advocacy, crisis counseling, support counseling, case management services, parent support groups and trainings.
We have an adoptive parent who adopted her two grandchildren, ages 5 (boy) and 7 (girl). She is a single-parent raising two young, school-aged children who are constantly needing new clothes due to the seasons changing and their active-nature. Parent is seeking specifically summer clothing for the kids. For the 5 yo boy, she is seeking shorts, pajama set (short and tshirt), jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, and tennis shoes (laces). He is a size 5/6 in bottoms, size 7 in tops, and size 13 in shoes. The 7 yo girl is needing tshirts, shorts (cloth, leggings, or shorts with elastic), pajama sets (shorts or night gown), and tennis shoes (laces). She is a size 6 in bottoms, size 7 in tops, and size 12 in shoes.

Help Remove an Educational Barrier for a Child
I am reaching out to request assistance for a student who has been without functioning glasses for several weeks. Unfortunately, their glasses were damaged, and due to this, they have been struggling to see clearly, which has significantly impacted their ability to complete classwork and participate fully in lessons. The lack of proper vision has hindered their academic progress, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to keep up with the rest of the class. This comes at an urgent time as SBAC testing is approaching. Cost to replace is $135.

As the weather warms, some students commute to school on foot and do not have access to a water bottle. We kindly request durable bottles that can keep beverages cold, as students will use them throughout the day to stay properly hydrated.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A loving grandmother in our community is currently in a season of transition and starting over with her family. As they work to rebuild, they’re in need of several essential items to create a stable and welcoming home. Some of their most urgent needs include: a washer and dryer, a dish set, two beds complete with blankets, frames, box springs, comforters, mattress protectors, and pillows, as well as two couches.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. Your support during this time of transition would make a meaningful impact on this family’s journey toward stability and comfort.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A family of four in our ministry is currently in need. Though we’re heading into the warmer months, they are without adequate blankets—something that’s still essential for cool nights, comfort, and a sense of stability in their home. Meeting this need will bring not only practical support, but also a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for by their community.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
In our Thomas Elementary community, there is a family facing a heavy burden. A mother, who works tirelessly to keep her family afloat, has had a challenging year. Just nine months ago, her husband was diagnosed with cancer and given a heartbreaking prognosis—six months to live. On top of that, her daughter faced her own health concerns.
While she is the only one able to work, things took a turn for the worse when her daughter was out sick for over a week. Unfortunately, this coincided with their move to a new home, leaving the mother unable to work during a critical time. The family has fallen behind financially, and while the landlords have been understanding, they recently issued a three-day notice to vacate if their $1,600 deposit isn’t paid soon.
This family needs our support, both financially and emotionally. Even a small amount can make a significant difference. More than that, they need a community to rally around them during this tough time. Let’s come together to show them they’re not alone. Whether it’s sharing resources, offering words of encouragement, or lending a helping hand, we can make a difference in their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
