A family of five is in need of two air conditioning units, as the A/C unit in their home is no longer working. Meeting this need will help alleviate some tension within the house and allow BMO to provide more supervision over her three boys, as it will lift a financial burden, as BMO is the only working family member in her home.

Mom is currently in a Christian-based inpatient treatment center, 2 1/2 hours away in TN. The family would greatly benefit from receiving $300 to help transport the child so she can visit her mom, as she has been unable to do so for a while due to this barrier.

A family is in need of a cockroach exterminator. This family has struggled for months trying to get rid of cockroaches and have even paid $150 out of their pocket with no results. They are on a fixed income and can't afford to keep paying hundreds of dollars to fix this issue. This family needs assistance with this to improve their living conditions and the safety of their children.

A newborn is being placed with relatives who are having a difficult time gathering all needed items. They are asking for assistance specifically for a crib.

The children are currently sleeping on a shared mattress without sheets, children are 2 and 1. The family has one income at this time and is struggling financially. We would like to assist this family in getting a pack and play and a toddler bed.

The mother just obtained independent housing and needs a crib for her son.

We are getting ready for Walker’s Kid’s Day, which is our community’s big back to school event. I would like to send a Care Portal request for school supplies. Any school supplies will be appreciated! I have attached last year’s supply list for one of the elementary/middle schools. Some of our biggest requests last year were:

A Family needs a new door frame and/or door, as their front door will not shut without some care. CM observed the door frame and noticed that it is potentially rotting, and the latch is bent in a particular way, allowing the door to shut. Once this is fixed, BMO can put in alarms in her home to ensure the children are staying in at night. The children's ages are 10, 15, and 17.

A young mother has fled an abusive situation with her 4 children, ages 6-15. They left with the clothes on their back and nothing else. She has a full-time job and has found a home to rent. She is has zero money to have electricity and water turned on at their new home. There is also a need for all home items including furniture, bedding, kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, and anything you need for a home. To have the electricity turned on is $400 and water is $162. Let's pull together so they can safely live in their new home with the basic needs of electricity and water and needed items.
